From what I've seen in manga fight scenes this manga does it the best. There is a certain prose in the way the mangaka choreographs the fights that it feels more like you're watching john wick in manga form than just another boring fight scene.
This manga does super well in
Story telling - Diverse characters and their point of views are shown not just the main characters akin to how demon slayer takes one episode to answer why someone turned into a demon
Pacing - It doesn't feel rushed every arc almost goes minute by minute without it feeling like a drag since its fast paced

IF you have ever done sports at any level this would give you an like an intense form of bittersweet nostalgia.
You can really feel the passion of Taiki and Chinatsu in the way they train and view their sport. One thing I really love about this manga is the way how its realistic since they don't try to have a misunderstanding they try to clarify things as soon as possible but the thing that drives the drama in the manga is the point that they hesitate and try to be too considerate, I think the parallels placed about sports and love plays a big ... I feel like this manga's general audience would be people who feel like their value has been placed on them based on what people had wanted from them in their past relationships. Meguro is so used to appealing the needs of he former significant others that she does not know what she wants anymore; that itself resonated a lot for me which got I'm into this manga.
This manga does not give a straightforward answer to what love looks like, its open minded enough to say " just because you disagree, Doesn't mean you cant be friends" most of the manga I've read so far ... Aug 26, 2023

This manga extrapolates the complexities of being an otaku and how you view normies, both told directly by Nanami, or witness by the reader based on how both MCs make little trivial things big.
I love how this manga incorporates a lot of gaming otaku stereotypes, I thought this would be a great chill slice of life romcom but as I read this parts of both MCs resonate with me, they just put into words things i could have not before, I felt nothing but warm and fuzzies and some tears in the most recent chapters ive read. This is my first manga with any ... Aug 24, 2023

If you have a day off an wanted to feel some sort of warm and fuzzies, read this manga Sekime in its 43 chapter brought me joy. I wish it were longer but such is life all good things can be abruptly taken from you, you just have admire the flowers while they bloom .
This manga is relatable to shy people and in general shy relationships. This features a non conflict type of MC in a romcom which is relatable to people in their earlier relationships. definitely makes you reminiscent of your first relationship. such hilarious situations though! Although it had a slow start progress can ... Aug 21, 2023

An interesting point of view for the Yandere genre, This manga answers the question what if Yandere's were someone kink, so far i have enjoyed reading this, I would say that so far(chapter 15) she's Yuno Gasai level obsessiveness minus the assertiveness. Haruka and Kisaki's relationship is a story of obsession vs obsession. Haruka is obssessed with the unknown which he placed into words as " Ghosts are only scary because of what you can imagine, The dark is only scarry because of what you can't see this strange, twisted behavior born of pure selfishness that kisaki has developed is what makes her so mysterious

To preface this review this was my first manga that was of this genre, I ended up finishing all of it in two days.
I was recommended this by a friend who knows me to have liked Mr. Robot for their similar topics. (Highly recommend if you enjoyed this manga). This manga was hard to put down I usually read manga at night after work and this kept me up until the next morning, I read this after it was finished but I kept in mind all the points that each chapter ended I would've hated to be reading it while it was coming out all ... |
