Read this a while ago because I thought the main character was incredibly cute, but I was really disappointed with what it was about. Adding a spoiler warning because I read this a few years ago and can’t remember if some stuff is revealed from the get-go or if it’s considered a spoiler.

stakes, you’ll recognize the plot beats. This part might be a bit of a nitpick, but in addition to not liking the age gap between the two characters (one is in high school and the other has graduated college), I didn’t like how any of the characters worked with each other. With the pacing of the story, I didn’t connect with any of them and I honestly can’t remember any side characters or antagonists in detail. The main duo is fine (suicidal girl learning to enjoy life and a bunny man learning to care for someone), but this kind of plot, in my opinion, doesn’t work nearly as well if the rest of the characters are dull, as I don’t really care what happens to them in this death game.
It’s a shame, though, because I’m generally really weak for a cute monster/human romance, but I found this one to be very contrived and boring.
