(This is my first review so I'm just copying the format I always see so I might mess up)
A real hidden gem. Judging by the amount of people who have read this I can tell it's very underrated.

Story- 9
When you see the title you think "oh boy another isekai but this time a yakuza", and while that wouldn't be wrong there is a lot more to the story than just the gimmick. You see a hardened brawler in his late 60s suddenly in the body of a young princess surrounded by people who supposedly know her. Having to deal with people treating him like a ... princess who can't do anything while he constantly gets into fistfights is most of what goes on.

Not much to say about this one, it's nicer than most manga I've read, while having a distinct style.

Character- 7
The MC is obviously really interesting, but the people he travels with and encounters can sometimes seem like they're there just to be there. This doesn't really affect the story much though, as almost all of the manga focuses on the MC beating the shit out of people.

Enjoyment- 10
Honestly very fun and interesting, I feel like I could easily read 100 chapters of this before needing a break, and I would be smiling the whole time.

It really is just a great manga with one of the only negatives being the boring side characters.

This is proof that an isekai can be well written without being a satire.

As soon as something gets the isekai tag these days, there are certain assumptions that one might make before reading a single page. Obviously, this story involves a character being transported from one world--our own--to another, and focuses on how that character's difference in outlook allows them to solve problems plaguing their new environment. Unlike the majority of isekai, however, NT uses this setup as an extra layer of flavor rather than a crutch. More importantly (to me at least), NT completely dumps all nonsense about "stats" or ... "levels". It does have a concept of magic that could be compared to a skill system, but the way it's written and presented is natural enough that it wouldn't feel out of place in any fantasy setting.

Evaluating this story on it's own is a bit tricky; more on that in my comments on the art. In the context of this specific work, however, it has a lot going for it. The individual arcs cover some cool ideas. The pacing is efficient, but not rushed. While there currently is only a couple loose threads that connect the different arcs together, given that this manga is only 19 chapters in that's to be expected.

Art: 10 at minimum
Miyashita Hiroki is flexing with this art.

First, a follow up from what I said in the story review. A lot of this story would not work at all if the art weren't this good. When a story covers an introduction, 2.5 complete arcs *and* some time on how characters get from one location to another in 19 chapters, generally it does so at the cost of any details not essential to the plot. NT mostly gets away with it because it can *show* those details without needing to spend any time discussing them. This is a fundamental part of what sets a manga/comics apart from a novel, but the art of NT really pushes this idea to another level.

The extent to which this art adds to the storytelling would already get it a 10 from me, but Hiroki doesn't stop there. The number one thing that blew me away while reading NT was, well... people/things getting blown away. Whether it's buildings being obliterated by falling demons or people literally getting their faces punched in, you can really feel the amount of passion and effort Hiroki put into capturing these incredibly violent, chaotic moments.

The point of this manga definitely is more about Ryuu beating up bad guys and being a badass than trying to present super deep, emotionally relatable side characters. Some of the people they encounter along their travels do have real personality, but the characters in the main party other than Ryuu are pretty generic.

Enjoyment: 10
All the fun of a traditional action manga focused around a badass MC, but with more sophisticated ideas and exceptional artwork.

Lightspeed pacing is the most striking quality of this series.
Fantasies are notorious for bad pacing, so it almost feels illegal how quickly the plot moves in Yakuza Reincarnation. What could easily be a mini-arc instead becomes a couple of chapters, and what would usually be a season-spanning arc lasts only several chapters.
It can be a little hard to follow the finer details of what's happening, but it's worth it to see something where the plot actually advances at a steady pace.

As for the protagonist Ryuu, she's certainly unique, and a great fit for such a fast-paced story.
Having lived a tumultuous 70 years, she doesn't care ... about how others treat her or feel uncomfortable about anything, not showing an ounce of youthful pride, embarrassment, or fear. All she wants is for the youngsters around her to be treated well, and that's usually when the fists come out.

But better than any review is to read it for yourself. The first arc is only 4 chapters, so you pretty much immediately get the full idea of what kind of a story this is and whether you like it or not; there's no waiting to see if it gets better or worse.

It is just my opinion, but I genuinely think that this manga is like the Chainsaw Man of the isekai genre, with it's dark and violent setting and constant awesome fights. It almost never catches a break as the fights keep going on and on. Not really saying that this manga is on par with the entirety of csm.

The worldbuilding is also pretty good imo since the characters moves from one place to another very quickly, yet the story doesn't feel rushed at all.

though I'm sometimes confused by it's story, it's still enjoyable as far as the isekai genre goes. Overall, I enjoyed this manga ... as much as I did with Chainsaw Man. (if that's even a fair comparison in the first place.)

This is a case of a manga having good art and a bad story.

Premise: Intriguing like most Isekai mangas.

MC: aimless with no obvious goal. They are also privileged with an uninteresting backstory. She lived her life to the fullest as a strong Yakuza, then got a second life as an attractive and young royalty in a fantasy world. All of this makes it difficult to empathize with the MC and by extension difficult to engage with the story.

Characters: flat and their actions don't make sense within this story world.

Story: The pacing is off with very low stakes and no real danger. Some chapters read like ... a "monster of the week" chapter in a long running manga, when this is a very short and concise one.

Art: Amazing art, the mangaka is obviously very talented.

4/10 Only because of the art and premise.

I've read 11 chapters at the point of this review.

So the premise has a lot of potential but it falls flat, there's no umph to it. The art is good, the characters are kinda okay but when it comes to how the author decides to use them in the story it just kinda fizzles out, there's nothing to really enjoy in it and it falls into the rating of meh.

It's kinda like the author is trying to go with having a raw gory world but the mc is stuck as a shounen mc that does in no way act like a yakuza or gangster would ... act. And i guess it can be kind of silly to compare a work of fiction to the real world i still would like some grounds in reality.

I guess part of me not liking this manga is because I've grown tired of some ways that the japanese do their works of fiction, or at least their manga. I don't have the skills or words to properly express these ways but once you've caught into them you can kind of tell how the story will go.

Wish i could have worded this review better for y'all but i still wanted to express myself.
4/10 stars, might be something to read when bored and with nothing else to do.

Honestly the idea sound really cool and presentation shown in early couple of chapters of old a senior Yakuza Nagamasa Ryumatsu, in modern day world is too old to run a gang and face disrespect from younger gang. Missing his old day and shown flashback, you get some background idea and respect he earned from local town people before his death set up by petty rival gang, but until reincarnated into "TAKING" the body of young princess on verge of death of this new world, and NOT reincarnated from birth as i anticipated.

The problem i have with the manga so far is right at start ... of his journey is how Nagamasa Ryumatsu just goes with flow and gain exposition of the world lore told by the princess two loyal guard followers; a old faithful knight and a dark elf mage when necessary onto new area they enter. With the original goal to return the princess to her kingdom (who suspect but continue to be oblivious of their princess change).

This world magic/level mechanic "Guiding skill tree" power course through the human vein determines their power level. The main character is unique to have TWO skill tree.

I think what the story/writing focus too much is the MC is an experience-wisdom old man with discipline/principle and tradition of Yakuza brute forcing his ways one or two punch into the every situation he doesn't like, not to point of kill (unless they're a demon/monster) and lectures onto others petty "badguys/thugs" telling them "right and wrong" somehow no repercussion or consequence to MC, and to be backed up by the "Guiding skill tree" powering his fist.

I guess I'm just expecting a story about a Yakuza who seems old fashion to not know anything about fantasy land or video game leveling terms (which it still does shown he doesn't get it) and would try to fight this world of magical land with sword/katana and get "Creative" in fights while trapped/reborn in girls body. (without the whole one punch everything idea)

I expected too much and met with disappointment in end i just drop the story.
