Island in a Puddle and Weathering With You are two relatively short drama manga that features a brother and a sister living together as part of the main cast, with the main point of view being from a somewhat self-reliant male protagonist. Though there is a modern setting and relatively realistic conflicts and stakes, there is a significant supernatural element connected to one of the siblings. Troubling living situations and rain are also common main motifs.

Island in a Puddle and For the Kid I Saw in My Dreams are two murder drama thrillers made by Kei Sanbe. As expected of this author, the main character is an adolescent male protagonist who has seen more of the harsh reality of the world than your usual kid, and has something supernatural happen to him. This supernatural element gives them a connection to a murderous man that the main character will have to be aware of and outwit. Also there is some bloody violence.

Very similar premises, with an event that causes the two main characters to bodyswap. Both manga have a main character with similar "professions" and a bleak view on life, and both touch on how that view can start to change. Change the World feels more complete, but both have interesting takes on what happens when you find yourself stuck in another person's body and life, especially when said life may be less than desirable.
