Seeing as there isn't any reviews yet I thought I'd leave mine. Spoiler-free.

I didn't quite know what to expect when I bought Nikurashii hodo Aishiteru, but I really did enjoy reading it. It tells of a story of two woman having an affair behind one of the woman's husband's back. Reading about how they dealt with the social pressures of keeping it hidden and dealing with the husband was very interesting to me. I think that this being only one volume, it starts to feel rushed towards the end which really sucks but this is how these things work. I think ... that if you're just looking for a quick read, or into Yuri manga then I would say pick it up. By the way there are NSFW scenes so maybe don't read in public.

I saw this manga and picked it up on a whim. For a first published work, I have to give a lot of credit to Yuni for what was a rather compelling story that didn't feel too cliche at any point - which tends to happen a lot with these workplace romances. I would recommend reading the original webcomics (that's how I found them, not sure if it was pirated) as it really shows the basis for what was a really good single volume manga.

The relationship between Fujimura and Ayako is started well and all feels quite natural, the benefit of this being one volume ... is that it avoids the common problems of long drawn-out romances but it also manages to not feel rushed. Both of them are quite interesting and it's know how both of them think and feel through out the story.

There is sex in this, but it doesn't feel distasteful and isn't fetishistic, and once again avoids the trap of seeming forced in or out of place. Nor is it particulary explicit.

In short, a very nice manga. Nothing bad to say about it.

I had some expectations when going into this, and mind you they weren't good ones; I expected this to be cliched, pretty predictable and tend to lead to the women being more sexualised when the NSFW stuff does happen. But to be honest I was quite surprised and I really enjoyed reading this. I think it did a great job with the concept and exploring the pressures and expectations of a woman in these circumstances. It made me root all the way for the couple, and their romance was really good and enjoyable to see. What I really loved was the two leads and how ... they both dealt with dealing with the affair, while it was a little predictable, I was quite surprised at how subversive it felt, particularly with Ayako.

It was rushed to the end though. I think if the page length could've been stretched out towards the end to give the characters a little more build up and more of a resolution, that would be great.

There is spice, but it's not sexualised in any way, they felt more intimate than anything which I really liked, and personally I think that's how it should be treated, but that's just my opinion.

Overall, would highly recommend for new comers to yuri or if you just would like a nice GL to read :)
