Here I was, randomly searching through anime at speeds that made my Internet groan and suffer…sorry DSL, when someone somewhere in the vast world that is the Internet recommended Fly High! Sure I’ll try it, why not? Worst case scenario it’s so bad it’s frustrates me, some brain cells die and the other ones left are sitting on a chair rocking back and forth (I accessorize up there with the occasional chair and bed, in case you were wondering). Best case, what we all hope for, you laugh, smile, laugh some more, and remember it FOREVER. Or until you’re so old you don’t remember ...

Story: Hmm.... I really don't know what to say for this...it's okay i guess. The 'cliff hangers' make you want to read more and more. The ending really isn't too satisfying though....for romantic reasons

Art: I loved the art style. Nice legs, beautiful flowy hair, all the elements of shojo art. Especially the big eyes. The good thing is, that they weren't too sparkly which suited my taste. Sometimes they lacked pupils which nerved me out. The proportion was perfect. In some mangas, the face is too flat, legs too short, limbs crooked, fat waists etc. None in Fly High. Also, I have to give ...

Preliminary (5/13 chp)
Fly High is one of those Shoujo manga which has a protagonist who is "tough". It has a plot which you could probably have read but as you read deeper, you will find yourself drawn to read more. And no, it does not have a lot of fighting scenes which I totally expect to have.

warning! MAY contain spoilers.
So, the story is a good read. Though there may be times where in you'll get annoyed with Meru (like What-the-f***-are-you-doing kind of annoyed) you'll eventually get over it cuz of the explanation. It may have its down moment but well, what shoujo manga has not down ...

I like this manga because the heroine is not a damsel in distress. It's a really cute and heartwarming story. It's also interesting and funny.

Mixed Feelings
This is my very first review so go easy on me. the good:I liked the artwork it was detailed and good looking, and i like that the main heroine wasnt some typical weak damsel in distress who always needed to get saved. and the story was not too slow paced and I always wanted to know what would happen next. the comedy was also pretty good.and i enjoyed that they showed how two faced people could be (the old student council president) the bad:well I really hated the ending for a few reasons, they just threw in some mary sue with black hair at the ...

I love this manga since the characters are well drawn and the story is somewhat interesting, but the sad part is that it only have 13 chapters. I am not satisfied. It would have been great if the mangaka made this a long story because this manga has a lot of potential and I really like it when the girl is strong.

Mixed Feelings
I have to say that this story is epitome of average to me. It's not bad, but it's not good either. If it weren't for how short it was, I would've dropped it, and there was a part of me hoping it would redeem itself.
It was just embarrassingly predictable. I already knew hoe things would end because they followed the same manga formula that other manga of the same genre use. It didn't bring anything new or interesting. A story about a really strong girl fighting for justice and then a love triangle it's just not that special. Sure it's a good premise for a ...
