Whenever I'm going to review an isekai, I always get caught up in the issue of innovation (everyone uses similar elements, be it aspects of history, among other things). So let's go to the review of more poorly prepared isekai ...

1 - Story [6/10] - I believe that there are few isekais that tried to follow this side, when I read the synopsis I got excited about the probability of something well worked out, and believe me if you want, this adaptation is really being good. But, this does not mean that it was actually maintained (I am not basing myself on the light novel, ... I am basing myself on the manga itself, that is, the adaptation). I don't know how the hell this author managed, but he completely changed the direction of this comedy, the whole plot changed from certain chapters, losing all grace. A big disappointment indeed. The comedy is lukewarm and unsalted, and suddenly it turns into some kind of meaningless romance. Do not consider this isekai if you want to watch a comedy without a head or head.

2 - Art [3/10] - Few details, be it the scenery or the characters' traits. Some parts were well designed, however, it is a matter of one or two pages.

3 - Character [5/10] - At the beginning, all the characters that appeared were very charismatic, but as I said earlier, the characters start to get boring and repetitive, using the same joke without salt. Some others appear, but they don't even end up being part of the comedy itself.

4 - Enjoyment [4/10] - The beginning is very funny, but then it gets boring and full of dialogues, the interesting proposal from the beginning is thrown away, and the manga becomes completely lost in what he intends to deliver.

Overall [4/10] - If you are looking for a funny isekai with a different proposal, this is not a good option. It is a little objective work and simply weak in what I wanted to deliver.

Looking for the average slice of life story with little to no real progress and just plain old comedy and nothing else? then dive right into this copy-paste same same isekai manga that manages to do absolutely nothing new since the time of harem comedy mangas of the early 2000's.

Character growth? meh who needs that?
Actual relationships? HAH like these authors have ever encountered something like that in their life.

Social interactions that aren't cliché one-liners? No what is that, ever talked to a real person? well if you think the dialogue in this manga is good I'm worried about you honestly. Because it is bad there ... is no sense of character at all in it. It's like they are all 4 years old.

Artstyle is actually pretty good well maybe that is the issue with this creation the person is a drawer, not a writer... sigh that would explain a lot, to be honest.

Then again considering how low the bar for Isekai manga... wait let me rephrase that considering how low the bar for quality writing is in manga in general this manga is actually pretty mediocre. It's nothing great, nothing new and nothing unique it's just a copy-paste of previous works.
Author self inserts about not wanting to live a life of hard work because the work culture sucks in their country. Which makes this manga an interesting commentary on the work-related issues that Japan is facing in this day and age. So the escapism and quick successes make sense because why write/draw about hard work when that is a large part of their life already. Man, now I just feel bad for the manga industry instead.

Anyways that is my two cents about this. Time to suffer through some other poor excuse of a manga title no one bothered to proofread before publishing cause we suckers will read just about anything with a nice image, cleavage and a good escapism scenario don't we? *sigh*

I have been keeping up with this series for many months now despite the monthly updates.
Even amidst the many Isekai titles popping up so often, this title stands out.

The story still follows the usual "Japanese MC who chooses to live in an isolated area due to having powers unrelated to combat."
This trope is slightly more fascinating since it takes a deeper perspective apart from the usual rise and grind.

Isekai de Tochi is able to incorporate many characters while retaining their unique personalities. No one is getting thumbed down or mellowed out. The characters somehow are all able to adapt to this slow lifestyle? It's incredibly ... peaceful with development going at a decent pace.

My only issue lies with the excessive levels of kindness from the MC. He is too nice to the point where it can be somewhat sickening. His mindset of seeking to be at absolute peace despite the obvious wrongdoings and attrocities he is exposed too will raise some eye brows. Sure I understand the importance of being nice or generous, but not to the point where its just glossing over injustices.

If he didn't have these kinds of powers, the MC would not be living such a naive lifestyle without any care.
Just be a little aware things in this series happen too conviently.

Despite that, this series still stacks at millions of views so I can't be too hard on it. Isekai de Tochi still fuctions as a better than average Isekai title I still enjoy reading.
