This is the exact question Mikogami Keigo (Main Character) had to face. In exchange for his humanity he will gain the power to kill his lover's murder.

6/10 - Story
Nothing new, nothing unique. This manga has your cliche vampire killing demon slaying plot with a sad back story and a fueled by the taste of revenge. It has its own fair share of twist and turns, cliffhangers, and sudden plot twists however it does not contribute much more than that. The pacing of the manga was pretty fast and I enjoyed it. Overall the plot ... isn't bad or good, and we might see more in the future.

9/10 - Art
This manga has an edgy chainsaw jigokuraku art vibe. The art style fits very well with the story and genre helping it contribute in a helpful way. I enjoyed the art. Lots of shading, textures, etc. Definitely one best art on young jump.

8/10 - Character
This series has everything from your sexy loli vampire to exhibitionist. Overall its very easy connect and relate to some characters, and each and every one of them seem to have a unique characteristic when compared to one another. However it is far from perfect, there are some flaws in the character design and from time to time they contradict each other.

7/10 - Enjoyment
Some parts of the manga made me feel sick from the sheer amount of blood. This however, did not stop me from enjoying the series. Its safe to say this manga isn't for the weakest of the heart.

8/10 - Overall
I would definitely give it a shot. Would recommend it. It is not the end of thew world if you didn't enjoy it.

- Story 6 / 10
The beginning is interesting and really promising. I even liked the beginning of the revenge arc, even if it was a bit unspectacular at the end. The following sequences after the revenge were unfortunately not as exciting to follow. Keigo only fights the bad guys because he wanted to be on Momos side and to save the world. Basically, that was the only real plot development in the second half of the story. And I'm not really a big fan of a training arc either, but it was ok to read because it was like one or two chapters long.

- Characters ... 6/10
The cast is really good for the story, but very forgettable due to the lack of screentime and character development. The main characters were cool and had their interesting moments, but the supporting characters weren't really important to the story aside from one or two interesting sequences they were involved in. But those were really cool. Unfortunately, that's where it ends

- Drawing style 9/10
I really liked the drawings of the manga. It was always really nice to see the action scenes. I also liked the uncanny drawing of the characters when they were shocked, for example. It also fits the setting of the story very well. And I love the cover of the manga and the little artwork at the end of a chapter. More of this please!

- Conclusion 7/10
The story and characters work really well, even if it's not the most revolutionary plot ever written. I wish there were more subplots just to flesh out the supporting characters. Please keep up the drawing because it's insane! Overall, it was an entertaining experience.

I would definitely recommend this manga to others.

This could have been an easy banger; in the realm of 8 to a 9. The premise is solid. The characters are likeable. The art is great. but the author doesn't understand how to utilise characters effectively. We see the king twice in 50 chapters. we don't get a glimpse at how strong he is. we get one interaction with the anti vampire forces. and we find out that the main guy in said force is actually childhood friends with the mc. but nothing else afterward, he's not mentioned at all even after the interaction.

We know nothing about the story of the two twins other ... than that they are weird but kinda nice. We know nothing about the main female character's backstory other than that she's 200 years old. In general. We know nothing about the characters whatsoever. And in 50 chapters we should at least have some character motivations beyond the main character's revenge story.

Like; the only somewhat story we know of is that the main character's fiancee was killed by the main bad guy. Which just rubbed me the wrong way. In fifty whole chapters I feel like I only know these characters' personalities.

After thinking about it further. I think this author is only good at making likeable characters and knows how to make good action sequences. Story is as simple as it gets, which isn't bad in itself. It's fine to start simple as long as you evolve somewhat. This manga just doesn't evolve.

We don't know why the main character was saved by the fmc. We don't know fully why the mc was targeted; it was something about how the bad guy basically grooms his targets' hatred and regret to grow stronger. But this was actually just shoved into a single panel and never talked about again.

He goes crazy for 3 chapters where he doesnt kill anyone, but randomly he starts killing randoms until he just doesn't.

Not to mention the fact that this should have ended after the first arc. We're now going into a second arc where all character “motivations” are completed and it's just boring. It's much akin to ending a game in an mmo. They're just doing side quests when able to one tap everything.

This manga WILL without a doubt succumb to power creep. Now they're talking about something where there's like 4 different people who are just as bad as the old bad guy but we're just never mentioned before. And apparently there are other vampire organisations that don't follow the vampire king that were mentioned once but never again.

The manga just has dipped its toes into shoes it just cannot and will not fill. It's just so disappointing. As I wrote before; this could have easily been an 8 or a 9 because it started out so good, the problem is that it stayed that way throughout the entire thing. It's so good it's bad in a sense. It's like drinking flat sparkling water. You expect the fizz but you just get bitterly flavoured water.
