They're both comedies where the main character has depression. Both started as web comics and feature characters who support the MC. Yuuutsu-kun has more references to popular culture and slightly more mature subject matter since the main character isn't a high schooler (instead a former office worker) 

Both of these manga revolve around the suicidal tendencies of the protagonist, althrough Menhera-chan plays it mostly for laugh while Joshikousei ni Korosaretai has more psychological content. 

If you enjoy black humor and specifically humor about suicide and the various ways of achieving it, you might like those manga. 

If you enjoy comedies build around a pessimistic, suicidal protagonists, then this might be to your liking.
