Move aside shoujo fans, this is what peak manga looks like. It is, quite simply, a masterful work of fiction with unparalleled greatness. Watching a girl masturbate in order to draw manga is nothing but an incredible premise, and I must commend the author for his masterful execution of the issue.

There are numerous genuinely humorous moments so you’ll either be laughing the whole time you’re reading this or just be horny. It’s a win-win. And, because it’s just so amazing, it manages to include cute romance with a nice ending. The only challenging thing about this manga is successfully finishing a chapter without getting ...

STORY (8/10)
The title (Drawing While Masturbating) pretty much describes the plot of the manga. It's about a girl who can't draw if she's not actively pleasuring herself and an assistant who happens to start working with her.
Somehow it works. Not the most interesting series of events but nothing over-the-top or ridiculously impossible/lewd/stupid. It's a surprisingly levelheaded work, considering the fact that it's an an ecchi about masturbation.
The comedy is fresh and fun, but nothing groundbreaking.

ART (9/10)
A lot of comedy in manga is based on the reactions of the characters. I'd say that this manga does it fairly well, encapsulating the emotions of the cast in ...

Drawing While Masturbating has a premise that is just not built for everyone, there's no avoiding that. But if the idea is funny and absurd enough to appeal to you, I think its a genuinely entertaining read with really good pacing and pleasant artwork. In this respect, I only think it really falters in the final dozen chapters. The goofy antics run into the territory of creepy sexual harassment and uncomfortable rapey behavior from principle characters. I recognize that some people may be able to see the humor in its presentation, but I don't think that the story handles it well enough to justify its ...

HAHHAHAHAHAHHAAHAH

The premise is so ridiculous that somehow it ended up being half-good and I really do enjoy it when I read a new chapter.

The basis is as the manga says, drawing while masturbating. It follows an assistant who can't get any work due to the fact that he's just too good and his authors start getting lazy. He then meets an author who needs to masturbate while drawing and so on so forth.

The manga can get really sweet at some times and the premise being ridiculous doesn't really make me take it as a romance manga but still has me wanting the romance to go ...

This is tagged as erotica and the first couple of chapters goes decently hard on the spice. However, it soon becomes apparent, that this isn't actual erotica, but just a plain old suggestive, harem romcom. In the end it falls short on characters, premise and plot progression.

It avoids pushing boundaries like better mangas do (see: Domestic Girlfriend) and instead end up kinda disappointing. Audacious at first, but non-committed to its own degeneracy.

I did like the start though, so I would recommend people reading around 20-30 chapters? That level of spice is the only level you are gonna get. Go with Kaguhara if you want ...
