Pretty sure that Dekisokonai no Himegimi-tachi was heavily influenced by Girl Friends. . . Both feature a gyaru befriending a shy and awkward bookworm and share many almost identical plot devices and storylines, the most blatant instance is probably the bath scene. That was just way too on the nose to be a coincidence.

Same genre and similar plot(a cheerful gal meets a melancholic girl and they develop feelings for each other). Even if Kurokawa and Fujishiro don´t discover their feelings until the end(unlike Citrus where Yuzu an Mei discover their feeling for each other half-way through the story) it is a very satisfying journey. Both manga feel similar to me, so if you liked one you should give the other one a shot(even though in my opinion Citrus is a bit more dramatic than Dekisokonai no Himegimi-tachi, but the second one is not borderline incestuos... so there is that XD).

Both series follow a gloomy loner girl and a popular upbeat girl (Gyaru in the case of Seiyuu Radio) so if you like one its very likely you'll like the other. Highly recommend both series as they're both great.

- Both stories are about a girl admiring someone who isn't as perfect as she thinks - Both stories have a girl who has heavy ideals for the person they like/admire and forgets that that person is only human. - Additionally, they're both about accepting yourself. - These manga have a similar artstyle. Very beautiful and cute. - They're both, of course, yuri/gl
