Fairy Idol Kanon and the Disney Fairies line of manga are both age-appropriate manga with themes on fairies and friendship. Best recommended for young female manga readers.

Fairy Idol Kanon and Yumeiro Patissiere are both stories following a young girl who has a passion for a certain career (Ichigo wants to be a patissiere, while Kanon wants to be an idol) and ends up meeting a cute fairy, who has their own goal as well as the main character (Vanilla also wants good cooking skills, while Alto is in search for a beautiful singing voice to help save her fairy world). The main character and the fairy become friends and rely on each other, and there is magical goodness all around both stories. Both series are also targeted for all ages.

Pokémon DP Adventure and Fairy Idol Kanon are two kids manga featuring young human kids and fantasy creatures (mainly fairies in Kanon's case). Both series are mainly light-hearted stories about friendship, but they are not afraid to go into heartfelt and somewhat sad territory when it comes to things like backstories, and they do the job pretty well in my opinion. The characters aren't super developed, but you may find yourself rooting for them regardless.

My Precious Friend and Fairy Idol Kanon are two manga created by Mera Hakamada. Though Fairy Idol Kanon has a more fantasy-oriented premise, the story in both of these manga are essentially about friendships between young female characters in school. Pierre Yamada from Fairy Idol Kanon even makes a cameo in My Precious Friend, though his character is redesigned with a different name and role, namely as the main characters' teacher.

Fairy Idol Kanon and Magical Dance are two fun age-appropriate manga that features a young girl who meets a character(s) from another world and is not that good at dancing. Both stories show how fun dancing (along with singing in Fairy Idol Kanon's case) can be.

Splatoon and Fairy Idol Kanon are two kodomo manga about a group of four characters working together to accomplish a certain goal together, whether it being a well-respected, top-ranked sports team or a popular idol group. There's a bit of comedy in both, but the similarities in my opinion are more easily found with the kind of moral or message most (if not all) chapters convey to the reader through our main characters—such as focusing more on having fun and teamwork.

While Fairy Idol Kanon is a fantasy kodomo manga and Anonymous Noise is a purely romantic shoujo manga, both have a female main character who likes to sing and eventually debuts in the music industry by getting in a group. Even if her voice can be objectively surpassed by other singers, her voice still captivates many and keeps people coming back for more. There's also a male character in both manga that composes music in a personal spot with similarly arranged set-ups. The art style in both of these manga may look different, but they kinda feel the same in my opinion.

Sansha Sanyou and Fairy Idol Kanon are two 2003 manga series that focuses on three cute girls and their adventures. The latter is more plot-oriented (with fantasy and music themes) while the former is more character-oriented, but both are funny and have similar characters in terms in either character or looks: Futaba and Kanon have similar hairstyles; Teru and Kodama have similar braids, glasses, and overall cute appearances; and Yoko and Marika have similar hair colors and brash personalities.

Kirarin Revolution and Fairy Idol Kanon are two manga series about the main character(s) becoming an idol. Fairy Idol Kanon doesn't focus that much on romance when compared to Kirarin, but both do focus a lot on comedy. The main character(s) also have a rival who wishes for their careers to fall and tries to sabotage them.

Unofficial Hatsune Mix and Fairy Idol Kanon are both manga with a large focus on music and a female protagonist's passion and talents for singing. While Unofficial Hatsune Mix is an anthology of stories and Fairy Idol Kanon is a story with a main narrative, they both provide a couple of comedic scenes.

Cyber Idol Mink and Fairy Idol Kanon are both magical girl manga that follow a young schoolgirl who is given a chance to become an idol via fantasy means (Mink uses futuristic technology while Kanon has help from her new fairy friend). They both have a charming art style, lots of different outfits, and some comedic scenes that can appeal to female readers and those who are fans of idol stories in general.

Fairy Idol Kanon and Cardcaptor Sakura both follow a young elementary schoolgirl's adventure where she gets involved with magic. Kanon doesn't use any magic unlike Sakura, but the two girls do get to wear many different outfits throughout their respective stories (both even get to wear an outfit with a certain surprising theme!). Both manga series are also targeted towards girls of all ages and have cute artwork.

Yotsuba& and Fairy Idol Kanon are two fun age-appropriate manga from 2003 featuring a young female protagonist. Fairy Idol Kanon has fantasy and more story-based elements while Yotsuba& is a comic featuring what slice-of-life comics can offer, but despite the differences, they are just really fun to read and both series have cute artwork on top of that.

Pixie Pop and Fairy Idol Kanon are two short but fun stories about a young girl's adventures with her new fairy friend. While Pixie Pop is more romance-oriented and Fairy Idol Kanon is more idol-oriented, both series have lots of funny scenes and know how to show themes of friendship between their characters.

Kilala Princess and Fairy Idol Kanon are both stories featuring a warm-color-haired schoolgirl protagonist and many fantasy elements. There are even a few chapters in both manga that feature the main character in a different world with magic, though this plot point has more focus in Kilala Princess than in Fairy Idol Kanon. These are both manga that I would recommend to young girls.

Ultra Maniac and Fairy Idol Kanon are two magical girl series that feature a friendship between a human girl and a girl from a fantasy world. Ultra Maniac focuses more on romance for its plot while Fairy Idol Kanon focuses more on music and the industry, but both have the fantasy character mess up on magic (more prevalent on the former though), some similar levels of funny scenes and friendship, and are just fun to read for shojo fans of all ages.

Fairy Idol Kanon and Mermaid Melody both mainly follow three girls with singing talents, with both series even having the main character represented with the color pink, and her friends with the colors blue and green. Music, especially singing, and magic are a huge focus on both stories, and are used to save the day when trouble strikes.

Full Moon wo Sagashite and Fairy Idol Kanon are two manga series that focus on the main protagonist befriending a fantasy being who uses their magic to turn them into an idol. The girl has to deal with the harshness of the music industry, with a rival who wants to ruin her career. Full Moon wo Sagashite is longer and much darker than Fairy Idol Kanon, though.
