Both are by the same author and deal with the themes of bullying and monstrous transformations.  

Story about a progonist that starts turning into a bug one day, and as he loses his human self, his family starts to turn away from him. Henshin is a direct adaptation of Kafka's The Metamorphosis while Bug Boy was clearly inspired by Kafka's novel. 

Horror storries written in the point of view of the "monsters" - poor children that ended up as an outcast, unfortunate victims of circumstances that turned them vile in the eyes of others. 

Disturbing horror stories about people turning into bugs. Not pure horror though, as more genres are mixed in for a better overall story enjoyment.
