ok! this is an interesting manga that has a cool concept but is somewhat poorly executed but in the end, works. The whole book revolves around dungeons and demon lords that make them so that they can feed off people. This book caught my attention because of how many volumes were available at the store. Only later when I started to read the first volume did I notice that the main character on the cover page was packing heat!

My initial thought about the book was that it was going to be a medieval fantasy manga with the same sort of story you get from ... a dungeon adventure. but I totally forgot that I am reading manga and anything is on the table. the premise slightly strays from what you would expect from a book like this but not so far that I am at the edge of my seat. Some of the characters are interesting but lack relatable traits, but are drawn amazingly and somewhat reminds me of "Is It Wrong To Pick Up A Girl In A Dungeon" I also like that there are some easter eggs in the book, I will not point any out and let you find them lol

as for the world is sort of cool but has no real structure. when I read manga, world-building is super important and is a huge contributing factor to the story. not saying that this doesn't have a somewhat detailed world but it needs a bit more. They jump from place to place making me forget where they are now when I was reading it. It could be my habitual lack of paying attention but I also sometimes found that when someone was talking that it was almost as if they were talking to a wall. but that could just be me 😂.

The manga started in 2018 and I think that it is still going

Overall the book concept is going to keep me reading! the author (Tsukiyo, Rui) has some other interesting books but, I am afraid that they will match the poorly written manga I am reviewing.

As for the artist, the art is on a whole other level than what I could draw but judging from the reviews from some of his other work they also lack story.

overall I am going to give a 5, due to the confusing story and lack of world-building and relatable characters.

Was excited reading the title thinking this was going to be a city building story, but sadly it's not. The city building is not even 1% of the story, and it feels almost like an after thought. MC builds his harem of demon girls and then he sends them off to battle... There isn't even a good explanation as to why they are fighting. The battles are a convoluted mess with magical coins somehow solving every problem. All the characters are generic. Overall it's very silly, but there isn't actually any comedy in it. Maybe this could have worked if they went all out with ... the craziness, but what we got is way too safe and boring.
