The plot is basically just a max prestige W rizz exorcist rizzing up a demon girl who appears to be 20 years younger than him. It's a fluffy slice of life psuedo-romance. It's a love status quo, meaning that the character's feelings for each other are sort of already known. Other anime in the status quo genre often have this issue where the only way they can keep thei story going is if some dumb antic prevents the characters from professing their feelings, because they already like each other and there is some degree of romantic tension. This series fully subverts this problem because the
...
MMC is fully aware of the FMC's feelings and she's aware that he's aware. Further, everyone including him is aware he has W rizz, and he uses this W rizz on every female character possible whenever convenient.
This makes for some fun lovey dovey moments, but the author also maintains the MMC as a straight laced character who sees the FMC not as a love interest but more like a daughter who he needs to protect.
The series is not really about their feelings perse. Their feelings are a backdrop which serves as scaffolding wherhe the series is really about the FMC learning to love not just romantically but platonically making friends with other characters and sort of becoming part of this big happy family.
There's lots of things which could have been better. The world building/power system are cohesive but feel like they are introduced and built on whenever relevant, whereas it would've made for a more compelling experience if hints were dropped earlier on. The map is confusing. There's really no characters besides the main 5 and 2 side characters who show up in I think 3 or 4 out of 60 chapters.
But it does exactly what it promises to do and it does it very well. The art is very good and it complements the style. The characters are very solid and never act in a way that doesn't make sense given their character type and what we know about them. The dynamics are cohesive and make for both funny antics and cute "romance scenes". Unfortunately, even the fact that the FMC appears to be somewhere between 9 and 13 is plot relevant somehow and actually shapes their relationship. There's certainly sutff that can be added, but nothing that feels like it's missing or is unnecessary, and for that reason I rate this manga a 10/10.
Note: there appear to only be 57 chapters.
