Hi, I felt compelled to write a review seeing how little attention Eizouken manga gets. This is my first time, please go easy on me.
I really am not some connoisseur of anime & manga or anything like that, in fact a lot of people say my taste is ass and I've barely read any manga. I only picked up a physical copy due to how much I liked the anime.
Well let me tell you, I personally think Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken is fiercely fun to read. It features some breathtakingly imaginative depictions of the creative process, intricate design of worlds, characters, and contraptions.

The attention to detail is awesome. The expressive animation brings joy.
You will probably like the manga for different reasons than me: I think the author really did a good job at capturing the gritty, tactile feeling of sketches. I've been sketching random ideas ever since I'm a kid, and seeing the blueprint-like detailed drawings of various contraptions and environments makes me really happy. They remind me of stuff I would doodle and sketch on my schoolwork, as well as some larger ideas which I dedicate notebooks to. I love the attention to detail as well, as an EE student with passion for anything engineering, the remarkable consideration to the function of the blueprints really contributes to the general awesomeness. These designs are tangible, grounded, and most of all, passionate.
For example, the patent pending propeller skirt features an internal counter rotating ballast to counteract the torque produced by the rotors, much like the tail rotors of real life helicopters. Details like this bring me such delight. (It's worth noting that this design needs revising as the counter rotating ballast, a reaction wheel, will soon saturate after startup and no longer able to counter the rotation. This is because the main rotors generate torque by deflecting air while the ballast generate torque through the acceleration of mass, which requires constantly increasing speed that cannot be maintained indefinitely. This problem can be solved by adding another main rotor with opposing rotation to each other, so the torque effectively cancels out. Some real world helicopters do this as well. Alternating power to each rotor combined with swash plates will give the propeller skirt full controllability like real helicopters. A hobbyist grade flight computer that runs Betaflight or something can also be added for very low cost which enable autopilot and stabilization among other things.)
Overall, I think you should really check out the manga if you liked the anime. It's super similar but seeing the drawings on paper is very cool.
