Hi everyone. I'm not using cult concepts to rate it.

Story [08] - The story has one idea, tell a story about a prideful dark mage who doesn't want anyone to know that she likes cute things and happens that she hired a slime. It's not that special but accomplishes its objective.

Art [08] - Personally I'd like to see more well-built scenarios and the characters, but the way that it is, it's enough. When the objective is to be cute or funny, it is. The background usually is blank, but when is about her store/shop you feel interested and love in it.

This is a low tension fantasy comedy. The main characters are a dark mage shopkeep and her toddler-age slime apprentice. It has a bit of a slow start, as most gags revolve around the mage hiding her affection and contriving excuses to huge and squeeze the slime.

But as the story progresses it finds its rhythm and becomes more engaging. I think the cast of side characters are the main charm - they're very funny and likeable. It begins dipping its toes into surprisingly dangerous and emotional drama and adventure arcs as well, without sacrificing the story's safe-feeling vibe. Well, the cover art tells you ...
