-time travel/loop aspect that occurs at death -darker than perceived themes -interesting character development

-both start off with the female lead being dead -both characters are determined to find the murderer (it's also the brother character and crush character) -however summertime record doesn't focus on the mystery behind the female lead's death- it's quickly resolves it after the first arc -both have great character development -supernatural aspects

Though dissimilar in many ways plot-wise, I felt a connection in how these stories played out. - A main conflict of intelligence and out-thinking the enemy - The protagonists are competent and smart young men - Shadowy monsters playing a large role - Well drawn fight scenes - Unique power systems and ways to utilize said powers

The whole mystery aspect is really similar in both of em. And both are really interesting and entertaining

The way both series handle their mysteries is similair.

-Similar narrative structure throughout much of the manga. -Similar vibes. -An journey into darkness / the hero’s journey. Also, a piece of advice: Deadman Wonderland is more than just gore, and Summertime Rendering is darker than it seems. They don’t have much in common in terms of style or aesthetic, but the sensations they provoke are very similar. The only way to describe them is as sister series.

Both start off wholesome and quickly turn dark. Both are eerie with apocalyptic vibes.

Surviving romance and Summer Time render both have protagonists stuck in time loops. Both stories have horror elements within them. And both stories have mystery around the time loop and why it's happening.

-Both the MC's have the ability to time travel but in Summertime Render, the MC can only leap backwards for a few days whereas in Shinu hodo Kimi no Shojo ga Hoshii, the MC can leap in both forwards and backwards in time by a few years. -Both their powers, have a save point sort of thing which eventually moves forward as they use their powers extensively -Both have to die for time leaping to the past, although the MC of Shinu hodo Kimi no Shojo ga Hoshii just has to lose consciousness to travel forward in time

Both mangas have Time Travel. Both deals with an ongoing murder mystery and tries to prevent it and save a specific person.

Both mystery crime series with compelling narratives.

Summertime Render has the same small village type atmosphere that Shiki has. Odd things keep happening, quite literally, in the shadows. People get replaced with a superior version of themselves and the main protags need to fight off the intruders. It's similar in the aspect that the reader has the awesome foresight to know what's happening already while the actual characters gradually put the pieces together as the chapters continue on.

They tick a lot of the same boxes. They revolve around a tragedy. They're both murder mysteries centered around the ability to time travel. They have similarly detached MCs trying to figure out the best way to interact with the new times they've landed themselves in. And they have meaningful dialogue and relationships that are as enjoyable as the plot.

Both are very suspenseful and full of tension

some wacky stuff goes on in a small village, trapping the protagonists. the further it goes, the crazier it gets. both are great sci-fi with good art and some gore. good looking male lead that doesn't play on your nerves with being the typical loser MC.

-time travel/time loop -fighting against monsters -bloody/gory scenes
reportRecommended by demana
-Both have an MC that could go back in time by killing themselves -MC of Summertime Render can go back to any length of time from when he came to the island although the time limit starts decreasing eventually, and in Saike Matashitemo, the MC can go back to exactly 7:30 am of the same day -MC of Summertime Render can die by any means whereas in Saike Matashitemo, the MC has to drown in a particular river to go back Both of them are thrillers with action, if you liked one, then you would certainly love the other one as well.
