A class is suddenly dragged into a cruel "game" involving their phones, one that quickly has them turn agains each other and losing results in a death. Plenty of gruesome deaths as the protagonist tries to track down the culprit. 

You wake up one day only to realize that you have received a message commanding you to participate in a survival game or otherwise die, how would you react? Digging deeply into human nature, both titles explore upon fear and the way one would act in a life-or-death situation. Sharing a rather similar and alarmed protagonist, they both witness doomsday as they discover their classmates around them dying in agitation and revealing the distrust among them. 

Both are cannibal themed death game stories with a ya cast with a lot of gore in it.

Both are ultraviolent death games with a very dark atmosphere where the cast must make life or death decisions.
