As you can read in the summary the story is kinda interesting. An exterminator (pest controller/killer) gets a new life after death but doesn't get any super powers so what can he do?
The MC is strong and mature and doesn't want to stand out. He accidentally got a big power up but still keeps doing only those quests that he likes doing instead the ones that would get him fame or fortune. I must say I like it! So far the manga has also stayed true to its name and the MC hasn't started learning magic or fighting skills.
Of all the isekais out there this

This is gonna be my first review ever so bare that in mind.
Warning maybe Minor spoilers The story is pretty easy to follow and a easy read. Basically he just completes some quest and does what he wants. The MC is pretty OP, however he doesn't use his abilities to the fullest so he can live a life he wants to live. You know in other manga's like transported to another world type where the MC is OP and are forced to slay demons lords and whatnot. He doesn't want that to happen so he refrains from drawing to much attention. The action ... Jan 7, 2022
Kujonin is not better than the average Isekai. After reading the reviews suggesting as much, I gave it a shot. Its premise is interesting, yes, but the story itself falls into many patterns that place it within the category of "isekai power fantasy."
Here's a list of tropes present in Kujonin: -OP MC. -MC gains power ridiculously fast and easy. -MC attracts women without having to work for it; one interaction or trait is sufficient for creating this attraction. -Women near the MC want to have sex at really weird times. -MC denies all advances from women for no reason. -Ecchi is random and over the top; there's no flow to it, ... The Good: The story is unique and the characters are more mature than most. This manga doesn't shy away from scenery and setting changes which can be refreshing compared to most run of the mill Isekai/Fantasy manga that tend to lean a lot on their characters.
The Neutral: I personally like the OP MC tropes but they can be a little tired at times, which can be negative for some people. The Bad: The main plot drags it's feet until you start to encounter new characters, which can lead to the manga feeling a little aimless at times. To summarize: Not a bad manga at all and it ... I can honestly say that this manga was hard to put down. I was consistently left wanting to read another chapter.
Warning: possible minor spoilers ahead.. The premise is your typical Isekai with a very unique twist that makes it completely unique in its own sense. MC was an exterminator who is transported to a fantasy world and must figure out how to survive. How in the world can a pest control technician slay ferocious dungeon monsters? That's the brilliance of this manga. They way the author ties MC's career choice into the entire trope of fantasy world exploration and leveling is done quite well. The ... |
