We are presented with a psychotic male lead who has no fear of losing their life however, when they get entangled with a strong badass female lead their lives start to change. They fall head-on in love with the female lead and start to understand the fear of having a lovely one.

Both stories revolve around criminal organizations, sport dark and quirky humor and have a capable female lead who becomes the target of obsessive love for a creepy, always-smiling crazy-ass male lead. Sinister and cute.

Both have elements of romance w a power couple and both female leads are affiliated with a gang.

Similarities: - both have smart, strong and badass fl characters  - both have crazy, cunning, unhinged and mysterious ml who is in love with the fl - both initially want to kill each other (olgami more literally, rwtgi more metaphorically) - the chemistry between the fl and ml is slow burn and so angsty but they are literally made for each other  - storyline 10/10 (although rwtgi is ongoing TT) -modern day setting Differences: - olgami is a vampire story but rwtgi is based around yakuzas (lol can't think of anything else) Highly highly recommend reading both. They have a really good storyline that leave you  read more

They both involve a lot of violence and possesive yandere characters. Where Mirai Nikki had a female lead be the yandere, Raise Wa Tanin Ga Li has the yandere being the male lead. Raise wa Tanin ga li, while involving a yandere within a heterosexual relationship during a violent enviornment, with their cast of very interesting characters allows you to be engaged in a relationship that's pretty self aware.

If what hooks you in is the yakuza lifestyle, strangely endearing yet horrifying bastards doing unhinged yet badass stuff, complex and emotional character psychology with backstories and a cinematic feeling to its flow and composition… Well, they both have those in common. Do you like action? Mystery mixed in with thriller? Give it a shot. Harahara Sensei is (sadly) not a romance so don’t go in with that expectation, but it does center around two characters which, yes, are very shippable. In both mangas, everybody’s pretty morally ambiguous, to say the least, and it’s part of the appeal even if you do root for the main  read more

Both manga are about Yakuza, and have light hearted humor. Hina from Hinamatsuri is younger than Yoshino. Hinamatsuri also focuses more on a particular Yakuza group, while Raise wa Tanin ga Ii focuses on the dynamics between Yakuza groups. Lastly, Hinamatsuri has no romance, whereas Raise was Tanin ga Ii is about an arranged engagement between the two grandchildren of Yakuza gangs.

The main couple of both have the same sort of vibe, where both are scary sometimes and the main guy is kind of mysterious. The main girl and guy of the series also kind of look alike.

Both are basically thriller romantic comedies where the characters have multiple sides to their personalities and they have to constantly play a game of cat and mouse. The main characters in both of these series have ties to very shady and dangerous jobs and professions.

Both have arranged marriages between Yakuza gangs, and humor.

The dynamics between the characters are similar. They're both humorous, while Raise does become a bit darker as it focuses on gangs. They both are school stories, although Horimiya definitely focuses on school aspects more. Horimiya and Raise wa Tanin ga Ii have masochistic characters; Kirishima in Raise and Hori in Horimiya. The female leads in both manga aren't bland characters, and tend to have atypical characteristics; Yoshino from Raise isn't ridiculously strong, but can defend herself, and Hori from Horimiya becomes a different person when she's at home. The male leads also aren't typical, and become polar opposites of how they seem at first.
