This was a very interesting manga. The artwork is interesting as well, the characters look more human than anime. But I think that makes it more enjoyable.

This is also a lot more violent, and has sex in it(lesbian sex).

It is a good continuation of the Blood the Last Vampire anime movie. But it leaves wanting more and no clear ending just like in the anime.

I would reccomend this manga only if you enjoyed the movie and are not afraid to read something with lots of cursing and sex.

Its also a single volume so no more to buy!

Story 7/10

While it was more entertaining than the movie, i gotta say it lacked a bit of backstory, just Saya has a cool backstory which i thought it was very interesting. The other characters felt completly flat, i would have liked if it continued with the characters from the movie like David, the cop, and the woman, rather than fastforward 30 years later.

Art 8/10

The art was very good! It had blood and guts, pleasing to the eye, and well done. It's basic, but done well.

Characters 7/10

As i said before, except Saya (and her crazy twin) the rest of the characters were boring and felt flat ... and uninteresting to say the least. They were ok, but they could have done better. With the other kid, Akiko, i think they underutilized her, it was shocking to see her outcome, but i would have wanted to know more why she hated her parents and things like that.

Enjojyment 9/10

It served the porpouse, i enjoyed it! It's a very interesting manga, because it's not your typical situation, because the guy, Benkyo Tamaoki is a hentai artist, and he blended erotism with horror and action, and it was kinda cool seeing something different and well done. While the erotism part i think it was a filler and wasn't necessary, it served to shock you, which was the porpouse, and it was done well.

I really liked it, while the characters were a bit empty, the story, and art really made up for the underutilized characters.

I originally stumbled accross this manga after watching Blood+, still hungry for more after watching something so splendid.

But I soon found it was nothing like Blood+

Sure, it had vampires, and seemed to me more a hybrid of Blood: The Last Vampire (the movie) and Blood+ (the anime) than anything else but it had in itself it's own points of interest.

Story [8/10]
As I just said a moment ago, the story seemed more a hybrid of the anime movie Blood: The Last Vampire and the anime series Blood+, so I cannot say for certain how the story would have had an impression on me had I read ... it first but I will tell you what I can.
The story was shocking at the least, including violent and homosexual themes, the use of blood was common and orgy-like scene often graced the pages, which I felt might have undermined the actual story at times, the blood was required, though I felt they were just adding sex to appeal to a more perverted audience.
The story lacked backstory, the characters seemed undeveloped as did the reasoning though the events that followed were most definitely intriguing as a full out battle waged between pro and an tagonist.

Art [7/10]
With the art you begin to realise just what response the manga tries to earn from its reader. The art seems brutal and crude though you can tell it has a purpose, the manga wants to offend you and shock you. It is by far one of the most interesting factors of the manga, though isn't present in the art alone, the story also includes graphic sex scenes and blood spatter and crazed expressions which creep you out.

Character [4/10]
The manga wasn' very character driven, it focusing more on shocking you rather than intriguing you, leaving the characters undeveloped and uninteresting as individuals.

Enjoyment [5/10]
The manga wasn't created to entertain, persay, but more as a tool to shock. It's purpose was similar to a horror movie in the sense that you watch it to be scared, well, you read it to be shocked. Not entertained.
