The main characters somehow implant lifestyles, knowledge, science, technology and more from the future to the past. Both of them are very intelligent. <>Thermae Romae: in Rome and Japan, Sengoku Komachi Kuroutan: in Japan of the 1500s

Two manga with an abundance of detailed information and knowledge told by the main characters, varying from herbs and plants, illnesses, foods and all sorts of equipment needed to make living as easy as they can. <> SKK:NG is at some times darker than Tenju no Kuni, still both have plenty of calm and relaxing moments.

Two smart main characters who possess modern knowledge and are able to reconstruct immensely helpful tools and education principles to the people of the era they appeared in (the past or a fantasy-like past that's obviously not as developed as the present). It's rewarding (for the reader) whenever new items, tools or weapons make their appearance. <> SKK:NG no magic, only hard work; Fangkai Nage Nuwu: there is magic by witches and from other sources.

Similar situations for the MC, both are set in a similar era and are time-travel. The MCs in both use their unique skillset to help the lords of their respective domains and attain fame and glory (more or less) for it.

Time travel back to 500 or 1000 (or even 1500) years in the past, where life was rough to say the least, science totally inefficient compared to now, with people dying left and right to diseases or wounds that can be cured with current medicine, therapy and/or surgery. The MC introduces this modern science and techniques to these people and is seen as an extremely young master of knowledge. <> SKK:NG: Focus on agriculture; The Divine Surgeon: Focus on surgery

Both are manga that focus on historical foods, although Sengoku Komachi Kuroutan is about all the technologies the heroine uses to improve the past and Dandara Gohan focuses on meals the Shinsengumi might actually have eaten.

Both manga have protagonists that travel to another world or the past and use their modern knowledge to improve things. Sengoku is focused on agriculture more than politics, whereas Risou is more about fantasy politics and kingdom building.

Both involve women taken to another world- well, sort of. The past is a foreign country after all. Both protagonists use their skills to assist their new friends.

Both manga are about the trials and tribulations of farming although Natsuko is realistic and slower paced.
