Before I get into the review I would like to say one thing. THIS MANGA IS A HIDDEN GEM. I absolutely loved this manga. It was so cute and heartwarming that it really made my day every time I read it.
Story 7/10:
The story is quite simple. There a girl who is a ninja but is not allowed to tell anyone that she is a ninja except one person, a person that she likes. In the beginning of the story we get introduced to the main MC who is the love interest of that ninja girl and we basically follow their relational development throughout the

SHOULD YOU READ IT? If you want to get DIABETES then FAK YEAH READ THIS SH*T BRO.
There's a girl in your class. She's secretly a ninja, and you're the only one who knew her secret. Yup, that is the summary of this story. Ninja Shinobu-san no Junjou is a refreshing ROMCOM manga which its main audience is just people who want to have a good sweetness experience of their life. I know you are kinda like "Real Life sucks and so am I rite?" guys, so just let's get going to my review. Story (8): It is basically a slice of life story. ... Sep 18, 2017
TL:DR;
It's cute, well-paced, and it ends nicely. rest of the review... not really necessary honestly, but might as well do it for context. Story: Story is well-paced and progresses the relationship of the two mains nicely with some development for the side cast. Story revolves around Shinobu the Kunoichi interacting with Hitoyoshi, the only guy that knows she's a ninja and is trying to expose it. First few chapters revolve around antics between the two. and honestly the first few chapters are kinda cringe-worthy at first because of hitoyoshi, but is not too bad. the manga quickly shifts gears later to developing the relationship ... tl;dr: A pretty standard laid back rom-com where the heroine is a ninja, though that aspect isn't used all that much to its detriment.
This manga has ninjas, or rather a single ninja mainly, but for the most part it's a pretty standard laidback rom-com without much of an overarching plot and instead a bunch of small stories where things slowly develop. The relationship between the two characters, one being somewhat of a stalker and the other being really nice but dense worked well enough I suppose, and there were cute moments, slowly building up the relationship to a predictable but solid enough ending. The issue is that it ... Jun 29, 2023
TL:DR
Wholesome, drama-free romcom. Primary focus is on the comedy aspect with the romance sprinkled in. Fun characters and a strong supporting cast. The ninja conceit isn't that important to the plot but it is a funny gag that doesn't over stay it's welcome. Story: 8/10 Despite the short length of 30 chapters, this is a densely packed manga that manages to never feel rushed. In fact, this manga is maintains good pacing and even creates a nice cast of side characters (more on that below). Very impressive writing that i did not expect from a manga with such a silly premise. As mentioned, the pacing is good with ... Jan 8, 2019
A nice change of pace from the usual dark manga I read. Ninja Shibo-chan no Junjou is about a love story between a typical high school boy and a not so typical girl…ahem ninja. The story started off as the male protagonist discovered that his classmate is actually a ninja, while she awkwardly tries to deny it.
=Story= It's your typical love story where classmates fall in love, albeit with the twist that the girl is actually a ninja. It started out as a cute premise but it's noticeably missing in the middle of the manga and brought up again at the end. =Character= The author ... Jun 18, 2019
It is a really cute Romcom, but definitely not in the traditional sense.
The story is original, with this being my first encounter with the premise. Each chapter was funny and/or heartwarming. The reason I give the story an 8 is because they didn't kiss and we didn't see them do romantic stuff. The characters were alright. Actually, the one I disliked the most was Hitoyoshi, the main character (other than Shinobu). He was so fucking dense. The art was good, I didn't once feel empty. Sometimes, mangaka will leave a textbox with a white or black background, and it makes me feel disgusted when it pulls me ... |
