now Im not really into BL manga or anime, mainly because I'm a straight dude who likes big burly men fighting each other, which sounds gay but it really isn't. Now onto topic, our dining table is a Shounen ai, BL, Yaoi what ever you want to title it manga, it follows a man who is bad at eating with others named Yutaka, he meets two brothers named Minoru and Tane and begins to eat with them.

out of all the fujoshi garbage in the world, our dining table stands out to me as a truly human and relatable manga, its heartwarming and a joy to ...

I LOVED this manga. I'm shocked to see it doesn't have any reviews here yet. It is pretty hard to find - I had to read the second half of it from the gallery of a BL Facebook page, haha - but it is there!
If you're looking for a wholesome and SFW shounen ai manga with a true love story, this is it!
This is just... so. fucking. cute. You can really feel the love that blossoms between the main characters. Minoru's little brother (Tane) definitely made the story for me - the interactions between the protagonist (Yutaka) and Tane, and how that made Minoru fall ...

Honestly yall, I normally never say this much about gay manga but this nearly made me friggin emotional!!!

I just felt so sorry for the Yutaka character because literally, his adoptive family just treated him like a piece of crap and his adoptive brother just wasn't at all helpful to him. Man saying this makes me wanna hug Yutaka 😭😭😭😭😭

It was great to see Yutaka being made to feel like he was part of Minoru's family. Urgh my heart is making me nearly a mess here seriously lol!

Yutaka and Minoru were so sweet together ❤

If you're sick of the forced Yaoi sex manga that's out there ...

I can see what this manga was going on. A wholesome portrayal of two non-conflicting adults and one adorable child. The problem is, it feels empty.

There is a lack of any “meat” to the story. The manga feels more like an outline of the content than the actual final product. A quick, fleeting moment without much context before and after it, just hastily thrown together. Sure, you could argue that the wholesomeness enough is what makes this great, but I wouldn’t value the one here that highly. It certainly is no Yotsubato.

The art is pretty good, I’ll admit that, and it’s mainly thanks to ...

This was such a good manga, I was so happy reading this that I almost wanted to cry. It was just so sweet, and even though it was a pretty simple story, it was really well executed. I also liked how it didn't really follow the typical BL thing where there is a lack of consent. It felt like there was a mutual respect for each other and all the characters were nicely developed. I also liked how in the last chapter there was a time-skip so you could see how they developed and what the living situation was like over time.

While I really appreciate how this manga stands out from other BL in how it treats the MCs' relationship, I thought the premise was kind of meh, and the characters were notably underdeveloped and uninteresting. It felt like their backstories were all there was to know about them, and I wish that there had been more meetings between the brothers and the main guy before anything had happened between them.

While I'm a sucker for cute stuff, this didn't really hit that spot for me. I think it the fact that it was so short may have been what made it too saccharine for me--I don't ...

Yutaka just wants to belong somewhere with somebody, and he found a loving family that really saw him and appreciates him a lot. This story was emotionally good that I really feel for Yutaka's pain of being alone and somehow doesn't know if he'll fit in. And when he thought about wanting to stay by this family's side he couldn't help but feel sadness when the time of parting comes, when he and onii-chan might broke up and he won't be able to visit again. That scene with him and the father where he expressed his misery and pain of losing someone was really well ...

I bought this manga used from a local shop, I didn't even read the back. The front just had its own energy. You can feel the wholesomeness radiating from it!

The art in this is wonderful and soft. Just looking down at the pages makes me smile. It is very reminiscent of 2000s slice of life shoujo manga. The panelling is well thought out and flows with the eye nicely. I enjoy the art. Although it is not unique in anyway it is still good. Art doesn't need to be unique for it to be enjoyed and add to the story. The art is simple ...

"Our dining table" is an incredibly cute albeit quite short story about a romance forming due to an unusual relationship.

It is a heartwarming story, which beams with wholesomeness and very likeable protagonists. The interactions between each and every character comes out positive and there are next to no conflicts that aren't solved within three panels. This makes the manga quite the uplifting experience, although it does make it a bit less believable.

It must also be told that "Our dining table" is a short story, hence the Characters and overall setting aren't fully fleshed out. Therefor it may leave one in an unsatisfied position when ...
