Manga: Kondo wa Korosaretakunai Azarashi-san
both are about a smitten polar bear who falls in love with a terrified seal, who (misunderstanding their affection) wholeheartedly believes the other is going to eat them! :D

Manga: Ao no Flag
This may seem like a strange recommendation, but I thought that they both have similar elements when it talks about love. If you've read both of them, you'd probably know what I'm talking about. While Koisuru has animals as its main characters, it really talks about who you can love and that it's ok to feel that way, which is also a major theme in Ao no Flag. They kinda go in-depth with these kind of topics, especially in Ao no Flag.

Manga: Harinezumi no Harry
Sweet and heartwarming stories centered around animals deepening their frienship despite their differences and even though their species should not be together, encompassing themes about acceptation in a very natural way. They also have a similar simple and minimalistic artstyle.

In both: - A "scary" main character who fall in love for a cute character, this is an one sided love (for now...) - The cute main character have no idea what's think the "scary" main character. - "scary" main character only want to stay with his crush - Funny and cute moments by misunderstood situacions.
