I really love this story so far and it has quickly become on of my favorites. It's a good mix of romance, mystery, and drama, coupled with gorgeous art and a captivating storyline.

While it does contain many clichés, they work well with the story and add seasoning. I really love how the setting shows the traditional side of noble families in modern day Japan, as opposed to the city setting that appears in most mangas that take place in the modern day. The story provides a lot of insight on Japan's rich culture as well, making the story even more interesting.

Another thing I ... love is how the story revolves around wagashi, which is something that makes the story unique and interesting by adding a spin to the rather clichéd plot line. The element of mystery is also executed beautifully, with numerous twists and turns leaving you both confused, surprised, and itching for more.

While the start of Nao and Tsubaki's relationship seemed a bit rushed with little to no development, as the story progressed, it began to unfold and develop nicely. Despite his rather cold persona, you can really see how much Tsubaki cares about Nao deep inside.

The story conveys the characters emotions beautifully, taking the reader on a rollercoaster of fear, sadness, happiness, curiosity and more.

This definitely isn't a series for everyone, however I think it would appeal to those who like dramas or telenovelas. It won't leave you completely awe inspired, however it does take you on a fun experience of watching the story play out with all the twists and turns in the series.

"Something's Wrong With Us" is a wild ride of a story. It is suspenseful, exciting, and just bizarre. If you love mangas with crazy drama, unhinged characters, and plot twists, definitely give this one a read. I highly recommend that you read it all the way through before developing an opinion on the story or characters, as the plot has a lot of layers to it. That's one of the best parts of the story! It's a bit of a murder mystery, and I had no idea what to expect or who to pin the blame on because of the plot twists and constant revelations—but ... it was a fun journey to get to the conclusion.

It felt a bit like a soap opera, and almost like an enemies-to-lovers romance. You'll have to keep track of who's who and who did what, but I read it all at once and didn't find that too difficult. I think to enjoy this story, you'll have to be someone who enjoys drama and crazy character personalities. Otherwise, you may just hate everyone, haha.

I also really enjoyed the beautiful illustrations of the Japanese confectionaries that had a frequent role in the story. They were fun to learn about and made me want to try them myself!

Overall I enjoyed this story and all the suspenseful drama it featured. Lots of fun to read!

I swear this manga put a bitter taste in my mouth rather than allowing me to savour the idea that a female protagonist is creating Japanese confectionary. I mean, she's practically baking for the ML, who asked her to marry him. It turns out he married someone else, but that wedding went down the drain when he decided to marry the FL all along. He's simply so goddamn ignorant, and he's blatantly using the FL! Yes, they were childhood pals, big woop, will anyone in the manga world just calm the f down?!

As much as I realize the ML's mother is mourning the loss ... of her father since the FL's mother was accused of murdering him, she had no right to threaten the FL! This manga got me angry rather than intrigued, which was disappointing given my high expectations for the whole thing. For the sake of this man, I really don't want to enroll in anger management classes xD
