Enjoyable, a LN that focuses more on the monsters of the fantasy world instead of the humans. Definitely worth the read. Child protagonist makes interactions between the characters interesting if not a bit weird at times.
MC is OP, calculating, ruthless, and fun to follow. The only problem I have with him is his lust for revenge fizzing out for a while.
The author also has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to physics so a word of warning for people who can't look past that.

It does start quite good, the premise is quite generic for a reincarnated isekai, but the revenge touch is a good idea. However, everything slowly goes downhill from there. If I had to pinpoint the moment when it's starting to lose in quality it would be when they join the ghoul village.
But unlike a lot of bad/mediocre LN is not that nothing made sense from the beginning or that it suddenly goes stupid, it's the combination of an accumulation of stupid shit happening and disappointments until one little stupid thing is too much. But let be positive for an instant because that book is far from ...

The story of a boy screwed over by circumstance, people, and gods on numerous occasions. Vandalieu is a boy who has been driven to insanity by the cruelty and unfairness around him and yet to many people he might not seem the slightest bit insane because he’s not a raving lunatic despite definelty being crazy. Don’t go into this expecting the wrong thing, yes the main character is insane, yes he wants revenge against certain groups, and yes he isn’t afraid to kill. But, this does not mean he becomes an indiscriminate mad man murdering everyone who even looks at him wrong like some MCs

This LN is easily a middle eight. While there were short comings I personally don't believe they were completely devastating for the novel. In the beginning of the story the author is able to make you feel so much for the mc and really want to follow him through his journey. While the immense emotion does fade away there are a few parts like this, but there are only so many times you can have such emotional highs and lows. The story does slow down in between the larger arks, but there is always some grand moment that will soon come making the wait worth
