This week on fairy tales coming to life: Hansel and Gretel. Really great comedic moments in this episode. I found it cool that Karen, Nozomi and Komachi defeated the Hoshiina without the group.

I was expecting the show will go for a gag where Queen Bavarois continues to talk as she sleeps, lol.

Also, wow. I actually don't know about Hansel and Gretel. I don't live in the USA, Europe, or something but I know other the other standard fairy tales like Cinderella, Jack & the Beanstalk, The Three Little Pigs, etc.

The villain getting the transformation trinket is something I don't think has happened to the previous seasons of PreCure before (although I skipped Splash Star for now so I don't know about that). Also, telling the Cures that they'd be boiled alive is actually kind of brutal for this anime, like low-key whoa.

They did a "Naruto run" (well, ninja run if you want a less meme-y version of that term) during the fight with the Hoshina. Have they always done that or what? Lol.

I think that might be one of the first times in Precure that the villain actually steals the Precures' gadgets so they can't transform, as well as one of the first times that the Precures use their special attacks strategically, rather than just mindlessly blasting enemies.

@Shocked if I remember correctly the transformation items get stolen several times in futari wa but they always manage to trick the bad guy into giving them back, or in the case of like the first few episodes, Pissard just gave them back to them so it would be a fair fight.

Another Fairy Tale episode, this time it's Hansel & Gretel, kinda fun.

Though the witch is kinda stupid "I'll go outside and I will let here the items that gives you your power", genius.

Also, god how Bavarois is ANNOYING.
