| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kya~~~ The PREMIER WAS PURELY AMAZING~~~ The opening and ending theme songs were well done... Incorporated a lot of the characters and the sequences were well-spread, smooth, and [fairly?] "consistent" with the art style. And well, I just love the music~ Then, the episode itself was actually following pretty closely to the manga. I'm happy about that, looks like it may continue to be that way for the next few episodes~ yay~ And so, I also have to say that I REALLY enjoyed the animation and art used... Seeing it in the actual show (rather than the trailers, themselves) was reassuring and relieving. The style does have some similarities to CLAMP artwork, but... since the character designer did "Hakushaku to Yosei" [The Earl and Fairy], I find it somewhat more unique, and yet pleasant to watch... Only a few of the characters showed up today, but I loved the characters~ The voice actors did more than fairly good job for "impersonating" the particular personalities each character possesses from the original story~ And so, I found the BGM rather amusing at times... but, it flowed relatively well... And yeah, I think the plot is going to work out reasonable for this anime adaptation... Well, I hope so at least. GAH! It was just so frickin' amazing~~~! Lol... Rather hear me rant more, I think I will just go rewatch the episode a couple more times~~ I can't wait to see the next episode~~~ |
| It was awesome overall. I was excited to hear Daisuke Namikawa's (Hikage's) voice and Miyu Irino's (Shuuri's) voice!! All the seiyuus did nice job on expressing each characters. The preview was done by Labrador. |

| Awsome & love it <3 The art and animation were really well done! The OP & ED were also great *-* And the voice actor match their charatcter, can't wait to see the rest! | Good start, I am confused as to how the powers work exactly with these people. About how the whole training went with that oger guy. The three nuns seem promising at the end. The whole guy cast might be good but balance of girl should be better. |

| MAN IT WAS SO AWESOME! XD Been totally lookin' forward to this one and I surely am glad it didn't turn out to be a disappointment (for a pilot episode at least). I just love how the first episode turned out - great graphics, decent animation (starting to love Studio DEEN for this), fairly intriguing plot, well-chosen musical scores (hearts to the OP & ED~), everything! Pretty amazing all in all, I'd say. Definitely not bringing this to the drop list. =D ALSO, it might just be me and my excessive bias for BL [insert EVIL GRIN here] but I somehow seem to pick up slight BL vibes just at seeing Teito and Mikage together o_O Add up to that the fact that 96% of the characters are MALE. It's just like seeing another shounen title with soft BL slashes on the side. Well, I obviously don't mind. XD |
| Seriously I loved it.. The opening was amazing and the ending was great. I can't think of any other theme songs for this show. Teito's Voice fits him and Mikage is cuter then I would have thought. I can't wait to hear Frau, Castor and Labrador. *geh I love this show already. I'll even give this show a 10 right from the bat. I love it :D And I can't waait for the yaoi-fangrils to get their hands our cute guys. *guahaha I love Bl myself and *geh I wish I could draw.. x] |

| off to a good start. it was hard to contain myself from not fangirl squeal too much or nosebleed too much or drool too much or... I do wish Teito would smile more though. the anime has taken out much of the comical element from the manga. @Nostalgia Yuurisan is subbing it. ep1 should be done soon (soon as in few days? ...). |

| yea i agree with all the lack of teito/mikage relationship..i mean not that i ask for bl subtext or anythin but their friendship is important at least for the plot just like the manga..nevertheless, overall of it was awesome!! ^^ n im lovin it!! |
| I was a little worried about the animation since I'm not too fond of Deen, but it seems to be okay. It was a good overall first ep, though not as good as it could have been. Still, I'm looking forward to the next ep. |

| I've picked many animes this spring season. And I can easily tell that 07-ghost is the best by far. It's just superb. |

| Ugh. That was as bad as expected. A stereotypes galore, generic characters, the prisoner combat was utterly idiotic, and the animation quality was really inconsistent, ranging from pretty good in the beginning to totally crappy in the combat scene mentioned above. The 3D models of the flying ships and stuff were fine, but 3D effects were really ugly. On hold for now, but I doubt I'll return to this show later, so it could be counted as drop. |

| I liked the first episode, but it wasn't anything amazing. I'm hoping the second episode will be as good as I think it will, or else I'll be disappointed. Either way, I'll definitely continue watching it since I know I'll enjoy it despite some of my complaints , especially since the manga is so amazing. Waiting for the second episode is going to make me angsty. I also really liked the OP music. It'll probably be the only opening to any anime that I'll ever watch for every episode. <3 |

| Wow. Was shocked to see DB subbed it...didn't know that. Good OP and ED. This is prolly the best overall plot potential I've seen for this season so far IMO. |

| I live for great artwork like this. For a 20 minute episode I think it was too fast-paced. I would have loved more comic relief. ;) Anyway, I'd drop half of my Currently Watching list just to follow up on this. xD Artwork, Music, and Voice Acting earns this a 5/5 |

Really, Deen artwork is cheap, it was always cheap low-budget artwork using the copy-pasted models for all characters, and it'll always remain like this until Deen goes bankrupt. Not like e.g. Clannad which I've seen people call pretty and it's just... not. But I'm glad you said this cause the artwork is really far from great. |
