| its kinda sad that the only person in his life that didn't notice that something was wrong with him was his wife, I don't know how those two wound up getting married when she has such a poor understanding of him. not that I've seen a whole lot of understanding on his end, but he hasn't really been given as many opportunities by the writers. I wonder what happened to the real stage performers. |

| Yeah the wife is completely clueless with him. That was a slick move by Yuki, fixing the guitar, giving it to him and walking away...though I was half expecting Ouji to break it again. |

| I was a musician, and am still an audio engineer. I've worked with tons of bands and most my friends were musicians. If they had a wife who threw out their records, those are the round, black vinyl disks the kid was playing with and they were used to listen to music, that woman would be history. My wife managed bands when we met and she watches anime with me and we both freaked when his flying v was in the trash. And then the second time it happened we both agreed that is unforgivable. Maybe not as bad as cheating, but a guitar is a guitarist's most valuable possession. You don't touch it without permission and if you throw it out, you better not come home. When she got him the pink guitar, with what looks like a speaker in it, I think his reaction was realistic. I know someone this actually happened to. This guys GF bought him a pink guitar. It was an awesome Ibanez, but it was hot pink. He played it a lot anyway. And I had a similar thing where my wife spent a lot of money on something, but it's not what i would have bought, but I still acted like I love it. It's a matter of our wives were really trying to please us. So you act like you love it and use it because we want them to be happy too. I think that's why Ouji was "happy" when he got the pink guitar. It's "the thought that counts" at work here. |
