| That was a tough fight, it went by pretty quick though, those exchange of blows that Shimabukuro and Ippo gave each other during the first Dempsey Roll was intense. When the 2nd one came, it really took its toll on Shimaba, now that makes 17 wins for Ippo. I wish they told more about Shimaba in this though like the rest of Ippo's opponents, but either way, it was still an alright match. |

| That was a really awesome fight! Loved it. So intense :D 2 Dempsey Rolls. Both were awesome! With that exchange of blows. Dat last Punch was epic!! Send him flying Ippo hehehe. Shimabukuro deserves utmost respect too ^^ |

| Ippo had it hard this time, as Kamogawa said, he didn't fight like a champion, but still did a great job. BTW music in first Dempsy Roll was from first season OST trainings, I drolled in that part! | Actually wanted the fisherman to get up and fight him again to prove his resilience but oh well, was pretty fun. Also lol@ fisherman drowning himself. Animation looked great as well, not sure where this season is headed yet but I'll guess I'll get a broad view of what this season centers around within a few episodes. |

| That was a nice fight I guess. When Ippo went the crowd started chanting Ippo's name, i had to join in. At the end of the first episode, I was wary about how good this season was gonna be, and tbh, this episode made me believe that this season will be just awesome. Just hoping that Takamura's fight is as crazy as ever whenever we come around to it. Still loving that ED >__< |

| Epic mindblowing fight. The OST are fucking amazing, I hear the improvement after the 2nd season. Anyway, I just jizzed myself when Shimabukuro was countering Ippo's Dempsey RORU, with his brute strenght, it almost seemed like they were both using Dempsey Roll. It was spectacular. Oh btw, Shimabukuro is such a bro. "He's no fisherman, he's a pure, unadulterated boxer". The next episode is called "Woman's Battle" uhm? |

| I was a little worried about the pacing after seeing the first episode but after watching this episode I'm not too worried anymore. Great animation, music and it was really tense. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season. Next episode will hilarious! |

| Last time i remember, this battle was like 30+ chapter in the manga xD Intense fight is intense indeed but i feel they will skip most of the training and character development(Although most of the development comes from the fights anyway). |
| Ippo still trash i dont ever see him making world class with all the beatings he get. I never once saw him win with ease. I use to read the manga but stopped around 900 so i dont know how much better he got. Takamura is the best thing in the series i hope we see a fight from him. |

| A bit better now, not too sped up like the first episode and its less obvious if something got cut off. This show is epic as usual like its previous series! Really can't wait for the Sawamura fight i.e. the epic little clip seen on the opening song! I miss the old commentator =_= the new one sounds bad and looks bad!! lol And missed the old couch :( |

| Great fight. but i kinda knew that ippo would win cause that guy didn't had an introduction. no drama scene from him or anything .. kinda obvious .. but still a good fight. |

He actually had an introduction in manga, he even met with Ippo few days before the match. Madhouse just decided to skip that part, so they can adapt as many material from manga in these 25 episodes, that's at least what I think. |

But still he isn't a monstrous champ like Ricardo, Date, of even Takamura. I don't even read the manga, but Ippo needs to learn some new blows, it's starting to piss me off that he's lost without Dempsey Roll, makes him look kind of mediocre, and I'd seriously drop the story if he doesn't learn new shit. |
| Because I don't follow the manga I was really worried that Ippo was going to lose this one. I really liked Shimabukuro acknowledging Ippo's strength at the end, and it's nice to see characters winning and losing graciously. |

| Mediocre episode, this fight and build up should have at least been 4 episodes long like in the original series. I feel like the director is rushing everything to get to alot done in this season and I really dislike that, the first season had incredible pacing that built tension and hype for a fight yet this has all been thrown out the window. I at least hope they build up the Sawamura fight. |

| The ost were good, but they seemed to be used at the wrong time. Still, in the end, this turned out to be a decent fight, but all the fishermen talk was pretty annoying tbh. Next episode seems to be more comedic and as those are usually some of my favourite episodes in the series, I'm looking forward to next week... |

| Comeon guys, I'm pretty sure the fight vs Sawamura is going to be the highlight of the season...Theres no way they will rush it. IMO one of the best fights in the series. |
