That was my favorite episode from those 3 specials. It didn't have references to the Giant Robo episodes like the previous, but was very nice. Ginrei should stary with Fedine hehe I thought he was Taiso at first!

Regretably, I thought this episode was weak compared to the previous two. It went for having its own enclosed plot, with no other relation to the series' setting besides its use of same characters, and it also dialed down the bizarre humour in the process, leaving it with no real niche.

This was pretty fun to watch for the most part, and might've actually been better than the main OVA series if it wasn't for the bland, derivative third episode.
