| I've only watched the 1st season and was wondering if it's worth finishing the 2nd and 3rd season first before watching this. From what I've heard of the 2nd and 3rd season, they aren't supposed to good whatsoever. I've heard that season 4 though has been amazing though in comparison and would like to start watching it again with season 4. |

| Why would you skip two seasons? 4th season isn't amazing, it's all the same show. To answer your questioin, it's a SoL so there's really no plot points that you can miss, but there's no reason to skip them other than someone else thought they were boring. But go ahead, no one's stopping you. |

| When I started watching the second season right after finishing the first, it felt like it was trying copy the first and really badly at that (The art really turned me off). Tried the third but it didn't hold well with me either. So I kept with only have watching the first, since I didn't want feel disappointed in the series as a whole. With the announcement of the fourth season was the first time I heard of the commotion of how bad the second and third were. So in no way was I persuaded. Try it but for me it didn't feel like the same show. |
| As far as i'm concerned, the 4th season doesn't acknowledge the existence of those 2 seasons. |
| You might as well just watch the first season and jump over to the fourth one. The second and third seasons (especially the second) hardly feels like Minami-ke since they don't follow the same narrative style. Plus, they were animated by asread, who did a horrible job. |

| you dont need to watch 2nd and 3rd season. Only Hitomi appeared at 3rd season and 4th season. The others appeared from 1st season so you can watch 4th season without a sense of discomfort. After you watched 4th season and liked this anime, i reccomandded you watch 3rd season. Because 2nd season is mixed reception as its plot is little dark. |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| Probably no since it's just a slice of life anime. Although if you are really interested in the developing relationships that happened in the 2nd and 3rd seasons between the characters, then I suggest you watch them. |
