The story centers around Yūsha (Hero), a fighter in a war that humans and demons have waged for 15 years. The humans have infiltrated the demons' territory, but Hero is separated from his three companions before he enters the castle of Maō (Demon Queen). Yūsha confronts Maō alone about the destructive war that the demons have imposed on humans. However, Maō tells him that the war has created a reason for humans to work together and improved human society overall. She convinces him that humans would fall into a bloody civil war without their battles against the demons. To prevent such a conflict, Yūsha decides to join forces with Maō. |

| The Production Company "Arms" have done almost nothing but Hentai and ecchi animes. Although I guess I can say they did well in making Genshiken, I'm already having doubts if the anime would screw up or not... |
| Yes, when I saw the producers, I was a little worried about Arms also..but hopefully will play out well for the series. |

All things considering, 12eps probably means they'll leave the door open for more seasons. Haven't read the novel but in the "be mine hero, i refuse" manga there is quite a few points they could pick from to serve as an ending for the 1st season. |
