| In the July issue of Monthly ASUKA, Yukiru Sugisaki, the mangaka who wrote and illustrated D.N.Angel, announced a new manga series titled "1001 (Knights)", that will begin its serialization in the August issue of Monthly ASUKA to be released on June 23, 2012. Key Visual (July issue of Monthly ASUKA) The story begins with two twin brothers, who arrive in Dubai in search of their missing father. The anime is actually a decent adaptation of the manga and when it does go off on its own, it does a pretty good job with the character and story. If you're looking for a DNAngel fix, I'd highly recommend checking out the anime. |

| She may have wrote herself into a corner and couldn't get out of it, possibly one of the reasons why she couldn't complete D.N Angel. It just feels like she abandon it and decides to do something different like 1001 Knights. Whatever, good luck to that. Let's see how Yukiru-san fairs with her new work. |
