Wow, that was crazy. So many things i still don't understand, but im guessing this thing they call the "zone" must be an opening to another dimension to a world that humanity can't possibly comprehend. Ahgi is trying to tell them not to interfere with it so im guessing the fragment they found was the mystery behind the zone. With it they were able utilize science to create some way of interacting with another dimension.

Also these black shadows that they call the "emna" must be some form of darkness from the afterlife of a human being, trying to take souls and take them back to the afterlife where they can rest in peace. thats from what i gather anyways. Kscher appearnently absorsed to many of the emna and it resuled in an unstable state to where his soul was taken.

Although they did appear trying to attack all of the children, so based on that information, i guess we can assume that the children of befort are dead and living another life. In any case i don't know what the hell aghi meant by "it can destroy the whole universe" that is pretty crazy. This is just all speculation, i really have no idea wtf is going on.

Well finally all of them are together. I loved the last part of the episode when they introduced the "homeland" of the children of befort which is actually a star cluster 200 million light years away, hmm interesting. Hopefully we will find some answers at this placed called Greecia.

This series is starting to take on a whole different form.

I think his soul didn't disappear, he found peace and thanked Agi through his sister.

Fantastic episode and I was so glad for them to be finally able to meet Helga :D

And then Aghi.

Thought it a bit strange how easily they got of the ship. So the children are from another planet, Enma are the protectors of the universe and there is an afterlife/reincarnation; that seems quite a lot of chance to screw up the story, but let's hope for the best.

i have no idea as to where the story will go after this episode, they've got helga... when i was looking at photos after googling fantastic children yesterday, i got spoiled a bit i believe (a lil pissed but it was my fault in a sense) so i have a few theories on what they have to show us
i didn't really want to say it, but is it possible that kirchner and cybele loved each other more than just simple sibling affection? i dunno man. the holding of the hands as if they were in love and then that hug, kirchner's whole will to live was for cybele so... i'm probably being delusional lol, but for me anything is possible with this anime.

They're finally "reunited".

This was one hell of an episode and wow, it never seemed too far stretched, but they're indeed aliens.

I'm a bit disappointed by some of the revelations. It's too sudden to drop a bomb like the existence of the universe hanging on Kirchner letting go of his energy. It's such a stretch in the first place to suspend my belief on a dimension of the dead that could destroy the universe, and the fact that this wasn't foreshadowed until the conflict itself arose made me feel indifferent about it. But at least we now have some idea of the shadows being the universe itself trying to correct anomalies of life and death. And that is why they keep attacking the Belfort children.

I still wonder what happened to the 7th child, but judging by the previous episode maybe it was Mel who was captured by Dumas 100 years ago. Perhaps Dumas returned him to the zone. It looks like the Belfort children aren't looking for him, so I'm assuming it's just the 6 now.

Gherta predictably stalls long enough so that Kirchner's conveniently lackadaisical attempt to kill her gets interrupted.

This Zone, Orsel and universe talk escalated quicker than I expected. Is the universe really that fragile in this series that one guy can accidentally destroy it?
