| Miyata seems VERY depressed o.o |
| kind of a boring little story we got going now IMO, but I guess it is sort of inportant that we catch up on Miyata's progress. A little ironic that he drew inspiration from Ippo, with him being Ippo's ultimate goal. |
| he should expand beyond counters, and just give it up and move up a class. he'll do a lot better if he can eat normally. |

| Cool, we got a Miyata centered episode. It's nice to take a break from the constant barrage of Ippo :D - Sweet to check up on the guy, too bad he looks like shit. Hopefully he can pick up his game. |
| That arc about Miyata is interresting, it make a good change. I loled at that weird bromance between Miyata and Chaka xD I'm pretty sure he'll win this match, I didn't really understood what he changed about his counter, but it made his effect on Payao. |

| I loved this ep. It's great when shows take time away from the main char and focus on the supporting cast. Seeing how shitty Miyata's been doing was depressing as hell. Really fucking hyped for this upcoming fight |
| I'm happy that Miyata is finally getting a little spotlight since he was pretty dull and boring beforehand...now it's pretty hard and even sad to see how he's fallen after his loss to Mashiba. I guess the world of competitive sports is cruel. Hoping he somehow wins against this Jimmy guy, although he was looking in pretty bad shape- both physically and emotionally at the end there. |

| Wow I never really related to Ippo's character, he's way too viewer-stand-in and not to say that Miyata's a well rounded character or anything but damn this one episode was more intense than the last what? 20 episodes while also making me care a lot more for Miyata. Unexpectedly, I saw myself in him in ways I never imagined I'd do. Also it feels as though the stakes are much higher compared to Ippo's last few matches. which was very much needed I also enjoy the inclusion of Channa's character and am looking forward to this arc of the anime. I feel as though we've seen more than enough of Ippo and I'd love for the series to focus more on his opponents, rivals, other side characters more. Even when it's going to be about Ippo's main storyline, I'd like to see things from the other characters pov. |
| wow i finally gather the willpower to stop binge watching and they throw a Miyata episode my way. how can i resist? gotta love Miyata still, i'm kinda worried. in the beginning he seemed so strong but now he's getting into a slump of some sort after losing. Ippo keeps winning but Miyata keeps losing, it's so depressing to watch :( cmon let him win for once. this is like the only sports anime where the rival appears to be weaker. so tough that he has to diet as well, he's almost 3 inches taller than Ippo. i think the dieting is one of the most brutal aspects in this anime, it always makes me feel so bad for the characters. he is at an obvious disadvantage in the matches because of how much the dieting drains his energy. boxing in general doesn't seem like a sport for Miyata. said this like 100 times already but i wish the sport was different in this anime ughhhh if only Mashiba didn't stand on his foot, he wouldn't have been in the shape he is right now. i would even go as far as to say he would have probably won against Ippo, since he was training for him (also i may or may not have completely spoiled everything for myself as i was looking something up for this anime. which is a good thing in a way because now i feel less motivated to binge watch. kinda sad now though...) |

| What happened to mah boi Miyata, pretty sad to see him struggle so much. The ending felt weirdly similiar to the setting of Ippo vs Sendo with the people cheering for the opponent. |

| Miyata went to Thailand to redeem himself but he was only met with hardship after hardship in there... He looks like he's at his worst state yet but he has someone who's pinned his hopes on him when no one would in addition to him being closer to finding the Counter to beat all Counters. |
