Asem looks like he had more skills then his father in fighting at his age lol Asem and his friends trying to build a mobile suit. Romary makes her appearance. Flint gives Asem the AGE Device to piloting the gundam for his birthday. Woolf-like guy transfers into Asem's class named Zeheart Galette. Colony suddenly attacked by UEs. Vargas shows Asem the Gundam and tells him to pilot the Gundam and fight. New ED: 「My World：Spyair」 |

| New opening was eh to me. It'll eventually grow on me like the current Naruto one. Loved the opening scenes and it seem the new kid on the block is in fact the Char of the series. (shades, arrogant personality, red mobile suit). The opening did a good job in my opinion in pace. We got to see what happened with Flit and Emily and they had two kids, shame the girl didn't inherit the green hair. I was actually surprised they didn't show the Age 2 right off the bat.Really sure they'd milk it but i respect them for that. I'll give it two more episodes before they destroy it. Guess it's safe to say the new kid looks like Woolfe is pure coincidence. Can't wait to see more. ED was great! Except for the fact they took a page out of the Bleach ED with Ichigo running. And i was looking at the Gundam the whole time, Guess it's forshadowing how Asem is going to fight the new char. |

 I miss Kid Flit and Desil, though that huge time skip. The ending from Spyair is nice and filled with some pretty good pictures. However I have a feeling that From the opening, Millais looks cool as does Woolf and G-Exes I think. Fun episode, cant wait to see what new suits are in this age. I think I like Flit more than Asemu. The gundam in the ending looked nice. |

| Well, Asemu sure have a great fighting skills but his intellection like Flit is not the same at his ages. Asemu got a little sister too but no one have growns green hair. It would look great with green hair haha. :) Asemu x the new heroine girl The next generation of Gundam Age is Kio, his haircolor the same as new heroine here , what's was her name again Rom.. Something. To be honest Flit looks even better in 40s and younger version of him. Than kid version of him. Yup it was so predictable that it would be Flit x Emily so I guess her surname change to Asuno too when they got married. A long time skipped and the war is never over. |

| Quite refreshing way to start - The character had grew up... LOL~~~~~ Hopefully Romary stays in the plot to the end or they plot to have another heroine for another triangle relationship and at the end, one have to die. :/ |

Wing had a lot of episodes at a school with Heero transfering now and then. Besides, didn't AGE-1 start at a school too? Asem's a teenager for Christ sake, of course he'd go to a school. They'll scratch that after episode two-three probably since he can't get into the war without any reason. Flit had his reasons as a child, Asem doesn't. Maybe Flit will die and give Asem a reason? @Nameles84 It'll probably be like with Emily. Asem won't care about her until that other girl dies. Sounds a bit wrong. Flit obviously didn't hook up with Emily on the same day AGE-1 ended. That'd mean that he didn't have any feelings for Yurin. So...AGE-2 started great. Now that Flit's all grown up and has a family, it looks different when the enemy attacked the colony. Usually it's "Oh no, MC's family we don't know a thing about is in danger!" but this time it's different. But sadly AGE-1 was too short to get really attached to Flit, as it was with DragonBall's Son Goku, seing him small for ~145episodes and then suddenly it all changes and he's grown up and has a child. The only thing I dislike about Flit is that, while he did take a day off for Asem (while usually they don't take days off for something like birthdays), he still kinda forces Asem to join the military. I can understad that he wants Asem to be able to protect his loved ones, but still, one does not force his son to go to military. I wonder why Flit left his Gundam there. Maybe because he was afraid of it falling in hands of the Federation and them doing something bad with it? Wouldn't MPing AGE be a good move? And how come they are still using Genoaces after 25 years? (I'm guessing that it's a Genoace, maybe it's Mk. II). Despite some minor flaws, the episode was great and I enjoyed it from start to end. But I seriously hope that they go to space after the next attack, which would probably destroy the colony. |

| Loved this episode Asemu and the transfer student are gorgeous. So is Asemu's love interest I liked Emily, but I hope Romary supports him from the start unlike Emily did with Flit. The opening was meh, but I loved the ending so many cute moments and I love the school setting it will be original if it revolves around it this entire generation since the protags usually only go to school for one episode and tend not to go back so I kinda hope it is different this time around. xD 5/5 |

| @An_anon Meh, I hope they don't focus that much on going to school and that MS competition (he'll clearly go as shown in preview). Also, I liked the coldsleep method they use for traveling long distance. It'd be pretty useful for UC where they travel to Jupiter and back. Mars ain't that far, but it's still basically wasting the short life people have. |

If anything, the ED and OP sort of show a M-M-F love triangle so I'm hoping they'll go against the grain of Gundam and possibly skip out on the Newtype girl's death and possibly have some sort of different setup with our new Kamiya Hiroshi Char clone. Regardless, it's Kana Hanazawa so at least she's better in Emily already in the voice acting department. Also, did anyone else feel some Zeta vibes from this first episode? I hope it wasn't just me and that Sunrise will be taking that approach to this second arc. I just hope their final arc isn't their reinterpretation of Victory Gundam otherwise I will be both disgusted and annoyed. |

| Asemu's style of fighting is way more "street" than Flit's. Asemu's style reminds me of Woolf because of the frequent counter attacks. The ED...Asemu running....DAT ASS. |

Yup, Zeta also started at school but from the ED it seems that school arc will last for a while. That's my gripe about it. Reasons? | oh yeah finally Hanazawa Kana (Romary) has a role in gundam. hope she won't die in later episode like Yurin though >.<. it's good to see Vargas is back due to time skip i didn't know he will be back but i am glad he is. i like the design of Old Flit too, New OP is ok but i think i like the new ED better since it does show childhood memories of Asem with his father and did i see Dique daughter at the OP omg ? Dique will be the engineer for Gundam AGE now then..... to be honest i don't really like the mass time skip. they should do it after a season or so and yeah new 0 raiser coming soon ? lol |

At least they used the excuse that the kid piloted other mobile suits as an excuse to make some little sense of him defeating those guys. Btw who was the Federation guy in the red suit that hold his leg and lasted long enough in the battle. That dude should get some credit. |

| It was strongy expected that Emily'd marry this douchebag of Flit but I still feel sorry for her, even more so when he's become such a huge asshole now that he's older. Still, I see some redemption in their child Asemu who is far more interesting than his father was in the first arc. Heavily clichéd episode though. |

| Nice new ED, the fights are indeed getting better and better at each epi, the overall story would be meh if it wasn't for this super cool thing of keep looking "hey he is the kid of that and that person got like that and lol Flit with 40 got to have a goatee'n'moustache!". And that means that so far this anime concept is working really well! |

| Feels like Emily will always be in a can't win scenario. Could almost argue it might have been better to let someone else go and fight with how Flit in the present is focused on his UE genocide. His savior ideals have been corrupted and he's now more an avenger. Doesn't seem like a safe thing to have the leader of the Federation military dehumanizing the enemy. True enough they make it pretty easy to hate them, but to say every single person has to get taken out...Regardless those people got what they wanted since Emily didn't even raise a voice about Flit giving Asemu the AGE device. Seems from first impressions she's become a doormat. But anyways I like this episode more than the first one from last generation. Curious to see how Asemu will grow during this. He's been pushed in the direction of continuing Flit's war. Making sure he's trained to fight and planning on sending him to an elite military school. Not to mention constantly hammering home that he has to protect everyone. Of course it's definitely fueled by Flit not wanting Asemu to go through that feeling of not being able to protect those people that matter to him. Hope that AsemuxRomary gets more development than FlitxEmily ever did (that pairing was almost entirely done in the ED). At least Asemu seemed somewhat interested in her which is a good sign anyways. |

Romary reminded me of Flits mum  Nice dosage of action. Look the Char Aznable wannabe. Asemu piloting is indeed more "street" but I'm sure he will be dancing around like his dad in a few episodes. |

Good. Good start. The battle was ugly as sin, but what can you expect from a pilot's first battle in their Gundam. And it is Asemu's Gundam. HA! It was actually given to him. Most in the time in UC, some stupid kid had to steal it, but lately there have been a lot of "inherited" or "earned" Gundams. I could get used to this. Though it does make the Asuno family look very elitist. I'm looking forward to this new love triangle and rival, too. |
