THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
So Sisyphos still blames himself for what happened that day when he took Sasha away from Tenma and Alone and he felt like he started the whole Holy War.

For a second there I thought he was going to go to the dark side. I personally think he looks better with black cloth though, but thats just me.

Well halfway through the episode Sasha make him remember the promise he made to Tenma and the black cloth breaks and it returns to its golden state.

After he gets back from the dream realm thing it cuts back to the Oneiros fight. Tenma and his friends are still unable to destroy at least one of Oneiros's souls.

Back at the sanctuary Sisyphos with the help of Athena shoots an arrow to help destroy Oneiros. With the remaining strength he had left El Cid cuts the arrow into 4 pieces and it pierces all of the god's parts of the body and destroys them.

Oneiros tries to take down Tenma with him, but El Cid steps in and dies instead.

Now we have to wait another month to see what happens next *is in despair*

Hmm... the trailer looks very worrisome. I hope they don't skip 140 chapters and just end the series right there... I don't remember the battle progressing to that stage in the manga.....
bla bla bla
The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

Yeah that would seriously be depressing if they skip that much of the series T_____T

Feeling: striking, ingenious, unexpected, epic

I really liked watching Athena's call from Sysiphus perspective!! It was a really striking scene they created. As for the revelation that the arrow wound on Sysiphus was amplificating his sentiment of guilt... i found it really ingenious and gave me an idea for a new writting.
It was really unexpected when he didnt accept Athena's confort and told her "forget about me!" and even threatened her!!! And attacked her!!! It is meaningful scene for me because its true sometimes that feelings of guilt makes you quit trying to do what you know is right.
And in the end, the arrow thrown by both athena and sysiphus, cut then by ElCid was absolutely epic!!

So it seems I underestimated these gold saints. They are not the average run of the mill gold saints like the ones in the original series, these gold saints are all Saga+ tier. I should have known that. I feel extremely stupid for not realizing that sooner.

"I was searching you, my Goddess Athena". Well, Sisyphus, that sure was direct, you are not going to waste time. And, taking in mind things, you made the right choice by taking Sasha away from Alone and Tenma, considering that Alone could had killed her if she would had stayed in the city by the time he awakened as Hades. Stop being emo about it, man.

Gotta admit it, Sisyphus's surplice doesn't looks bad at all. I guess this is a shout-out to the fact that Aioros didn't had one in the original series, unlike the other deceased Saints who participated in the Hades saga of the original series.

Sasha deserves respect. She not only went to the battlefield, but managed to save Sisyphus from the darkness and guilt who was tormenting him. Is nice to see an Athena who has a more active role in the story, especially since she is supposed to be the Godess of War.
Is also nice too to have a Sagittarius Saint not named Seiya with participation in the story, considering how Aioros remained inactive through the story and only had an small role at the end of Hades Inferno.

I forgot to mention it, but I find ironic how El Cid and Sisyphus get along in this series, when in the classic Saint Seiya, it was the Capricorn Saint the one who killed Aioros.
The animation when El Cid cuts the arrow in four was extremely badass, just like him. In your face, Oneiros, that is what you got for understimating a Gold Saint.

That's a badass death you got, El Cid, being defiant till your last breath. I'm not even sad by his death, it was really cool, he took down 4 fucking Gods, and he finally obtained what he wanted all his life (to perfect his sword to made it worth of the name Excalibur). He died like a true hero. RIP, you will be missed, you madman.

Capricorn was cool, sad that like every Gold Saint he must die too. The part where he cut the arrow into four pieces was smooth af.
