THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Not a bad episode, but this show just isn't very compelling. The fight with Pazuz was pretty cool, but it looks like Neeba couldn't care less about whether he was saved or not. The drama parts of this show are just kinda generic. It looks like there's only a few episodes left, hopefully it'll get better.

This series could of been better if every episode didn't focus on how much Jil fails at life.

agreed. also, because of the obvious twists and mysteries that will be revealed at the end of the show, any kind of adversity or tension has pretty much been sucked out of the show. i liked how they threw in the arguments about the one wish the blue crystal rod can grant, generic as it may be, you see something from the characters you wouldn't have seen earlier in the show.

personally i think this episode is one of the better (if not the best) episode that i have seen to date. the plot finally moves along as of each character's purpose in making his way up to the tower were revealed. the usual slapstick comedy that i don't particularly enjoy is also non-existent in this episode. the ending of the summer of anu plus the two ghosts of the tower did quite a good job in invoking my curiosity in what is going to happen in the next episode.

The episode itself was so-so, but I really love its ending. That was quite unexpected.

Also, who really is Coopa? Her strength is impressive.

I definitely agree, and about what the ghost (who follows Jil around and is obviously Ki) said about the three people who would betray him made me really curious... Its obvious its prolly gonna be Kaaya and Neeba, but i what about the other 1?
Cant wait till next ep!

An ok episode. I never would have thought that everybody would be so close to the top so soon. I always thought this would be a 24 episode series, but things are cerntainly going at a fast pace.

Mediocre as all of them excluding comedy ones. Hopefully, it will end in 2-3 eps and defeating Druaga won't mean second arc of even more boredom.

Apparently there are only 13 episodes though I haven't gotten that confirmed. ANN and Wikipedia both say so. So hopefully your misery will end soon :)

On another note, they have ruined the Youtube version with a big white banner at the top advertising Crunchyrull.

Which is why I watched it on Veoh. So yeah, if that ad apears again on the Youtube version Episode 11, I'll have no choice but to use Veoh for the last 3 episodes. I'm pretty sure at the pace things are going, this is only going to be 13 episodes.

Crunchyroll has free h264 HQ streams which is as good in quality, or even better, than Youtube HQ version. Now that YT has an ad, Veoh and Crunchy are the best choices for watching Druaga as well as Blassreiter.

It's painful to watch butchered fantasy like Druaga. Too many childish elements even for an anime with PG-13 rating. Still, the plot is kinda interesting so it's not that bad ^_^

Maybe it's me, but I really like Druaga for some reason. Maybe I had low expectations from it, and it turned out better than I expected.

I'll make two points about this episode:
1. Fatina is extremely naive and easily manipulated.
2. Neeba is an ungrateful son-of-a-bitch, and if I was Jil I would have pushed him back down the cliff when he started behaving like an arse and said "Save yourself then...".
Your search on "Oran Solus" returned the following quotes:
"Oran Solus? I know him. What a wanker. He still owes me a tenner." Oscar Wilde
"Oran, you're so intelligent and awesome <3" Bakayaro
"Oran's sexy." LolitaDecay
"Oran is a sophisticated penguin." Drybananna
"Oran is a Hand-Eye you faggots." EddieSpaghetti
"Oran for Prime Minister." the_prime_one
"Oran is all that is stated in his sig and more." orbitzz

I lol'd so much with Neeba and Fatina. It was a pity lol since it was so obvious that he was only using her.

Best episode so far. That was really a good episode full of emotion, action and character development, unfortunately all of the eps in this series are not like that... Still, I think the last two episodes will be quite interesting because I don't know honw it will turn out. Unlike 90% of the animes where you can tell the end right at the beginning of the series, this show still has some kind of mystery just before the conclusion which is a good thing.

Yeah, this really pissed me off. Since watching this serious is also a strong political statement on where I want the anime industry to go... and that kind of monopolization seems far too corporate for my tastes.

In either case, this episode was pretty good, the series on a whole is decent, but it's not entirely spectacular. In terms of storyline and character I'd put it at the same place as haruhi, unfortunately it just doesn't have the awesome scenes intermittent to boost its score a point. (ie, I'm leaning towards rating this series a 5->6)

Also, it's interesting to see a new take on the character development, that is, the low amount of focus on particular life changing events. And I rather thought that the series got over Jil being a failure pretty early on; naive personality traits aside.

Not really. Ever episodes focuses on him being a failure to some extent, then there is a short burst of him acting heroic, and then he's back to a failure. It goes full circle.

meh, im not impressed....if they all died it might have some meaning....then start over with a better story.

unfortunatley when you spend too much time admiring people you fail to understand them, leaving you easy prey to deceit. fatima should have realized that.

The Youtube version of Ep 10 has been uploaded again; this time without the ad. I think it's the same for Ep 11, but I'm watching the episode later today, so I'm not sure about that particular episode.

12 episodes only instead of 13. Going to finish my first Spring Season anime in one week's time...that was fast.

Totally agree. I really wish it would be a 26 episode show instead of 12!

It has so much potential! But with only two more episodes to go, it can only disappoint at the end. ;)

Is just wanting to be a hero so bad? At least he isn't likely to betray anyone.

to many unanswered questions at this point (10ep of 12). who is druaga? what does Gilgamesh know? what of the wishes? who are these ghosts? (one is Ki - Gils wife). Is Kaaya Gil/Ki's granddaughter? What's Neeba/Puzuzu's/Kaaya's agenda? Why is Ki following Jil / Blue girl - Neeba? what does Neeba mean by "jil doesn't understand what's next" etc. etc.

to many ? at this point to be wrapped up in 2 remaining episodes. I don't like the script at all. I don't need everything at once, but to leave so many "what's" for 2 episodes, it's unlikely it'll get wrapped up nicely.

Poor Fatina and evil Neeba seducing her like that >.>
And then Neeba, do you want a kiss too, lol!

A few darker plots coming out and some nice twists about to happen.
