Can you believe it? I'm already quite impressed they actually considered it, but because of the bad dvd sales, they had to put the idea off. It would have been a blessing if a show like this managed to get a sequel..

a shame really, the series was really good. Such series was rare and a welcoming fresh air...

Sixth volume of manga probably would be last so they could make exactly 1 more season.

To bad people don't like such series ((( I hoped for it.

Shh. Hourou Musuko will be insanely popular and they'll be forced(not unhappily) to come back with Aoi Hana, too. Clap if you believe, guys(;_;).

Nothing to be surprised about... Shoujo-ai is underrated and that's a fact. You guys are lucky enough for at least having an anime adaptation... (And I'm saying that, because for me, Aoi Hana caught my eyes around 10 chapters ago or so, which is far after the events in the anime happened.) Unlike us, Girl Friends fans, who are still waiting to no avail, you at least have this ;/

Too Bad :(

I really liked the show, the manga itself is fun and the art of this anime was simply superb, it's really a shame we won't see any more of it

I have a feeling they might renew the series for a second season after the manga is finished. Are there even fan demands for it? The series is a personal favorite of mine and I want to see them again on tv.

Damn, the series was really enjoyable, it's such a shame that there won't be another season. Which is quite surprising for me since I find Maria-sama ga Miteru way worse than Aoi Hana, and MSGM got 3 seasons :/

Considering how the rest of the Manga went, I can respect this decision.

Is there a 'no backsies' policy for this sort of announcement? It's finally been released for the international market in March this year. I think the anime adapted chapters 1-18, now that the manga's completed, there's the rest to work with. More importantly, they have the chance to polish the manga's ending. Oh, well, one can hope.
