| Good episode, but i would have wanted them to emphasise how Lina knows that an out-of-control giga slave could destroy the world, but it worked the last time so maybe she would think she could get lucky twice. And Aunt Aqua even saying that "Even though it worked the last time it's too much of a risk and thats why i had to show this to you." Just thinking that they could've delivered the whole "giga slave can really destroy the world and everyone you love" a little bit better. |

| Welp, the Lina x Gourry ship has sailed. Awesome. Also, to be fair, Shabranigdo would have destroyed the whole world anyway. That’s why Lina used the Giga Slave in the first place, and that’s why it didn’t matter if she failed because they were screwed no matter what unless Shabranigdo was killed. I guess emphasizing the danger is fair since Gaav probably isn’t as high a level of threat. Still, she has the Ragna Blade now, so shouldn’t she be okay? I’m looking forward to discovering Xellos’s true nature. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a Monster himself and has turned on his own kind for some reason. |
| Well at least there's development in Lina and Goury shipping or perhaps a bit of clearing up. If that's the totally complete copy of the Claire Bible (heck it's declared at the front door!), even if it's as big as the desert itself and it's written in some code and then further hidden and multiplied in thousand fake monolithic copies, why aren't sorcerers, wizards, warlocks, sages, mages, witches and magicians of all fields and practices from all of over Slayer universe eagerly flock to it? Isn't the Claire Bible, the Holy Grail of magic for the Slayer universe? Maybe it's a very, very well kept secret since Lina doesn't know it till now? If it was up to me, I'd put a magical university and a research center on top of that temple then study, catalog, analyze every monolith in that desert for decades, nay even centuries! Who the hell is this old lady really, she doesn't seem to be a threat, and keen in helping Lina and company, heck I don't trust Xeloos and Xellos doesn't seem to know her so that's a win in my book. XP Woah a big shot showed up! |
