| I'd honestly rather it stayed like this rather than your "typical" monster of the week episodes. It gives you a lot to think about and talk about with each episode. I agree that the boy does seem to be the reincarnation of the Dark King in one sense (the Zakenna immediately recognizing him as their master), but in another he seems far too innocent to be the Dark King-- even in an immature form. Remember that the Elder said that the Dark King tranferred his life force. Because of that I'm wondering if maybe the boy is a corrupted part of the Queen-- with the boy being the "life" and the girl being the "heart". That sort of conflict would be really interesting if my guesses are right. |
| So Hikari seems to be mind controlling Akane to stay with her (and is probably the queen IMO) and the kid is most likely a part of the Dark King for how a new baddie treats him, this sounds promising. |

| Hikari is quite powerful and mysterious, and that boy at the mansion must be of evil lineage, although he's extremely young, so it's hard to say how aware he is of all this. |

This episode was a lot more enjoyable than the first episode. Art and animation looked better as well! Seems like next episode they will find out more about Hikari! |

| it was so nice to see an interaction of nagisa and fujipi ꒰∪ɞ̴̶̷ ·̫ ɞ̴̶̷ ꒱ i've been rooting for them since the last season and i won't back down now . . . ! 𐔌ᵔ ܸ>⩊<︎︎ ͡ 𐦯❕💬 it looks like hikari has some crazy mind control powers and is probably the queen ~ i guess so. and the little kid on the dark side seems to be the reincarnation of the dark king and has 4 new bad guys on his side (っ﹏-๑)💤 i'm curious to find out what the rest of the new enemies are like |
