ey yo wtf? this episode would've been incredible if they had devoted the time to flesh it out by actually showing Carmen's past in the town and the things she dealt with. A two parter would've been nice.
As is, it's still quite a nice episode, but there's just so much being squeezed in, like the entirety of the history of these two women. I found the ideas about being stuck in the past, romanticizing the past, being unable to move on from one's home, and how the beautiful flowers were actually poisonous (paralleling how the much romanticized past was actually toxic) to be interesting themes that had a lot of nuance.

Carmen is the best character in the series. She's got the most personality, she's the most fleshed out, and her background is well-written.
