The episode has references to A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare, as pointed out in the title. Maybe you haven't read it, but the donkey head plays an important role in the original play. Hermia and Lysander are also names of characters in it. ;) So, not surprising that a donkey is picked as her costume =D |
| awwww Hermia was such a cute character! So innocent and original unlike all the other Mytho fangirls~ I read A Midsummer Night's Dream last year in English so when I heard "Bottom" I was like "oh, bring on the donkey" |

| Interesting so the remaining pieces of Mytho's heart are keeping the seal on the monster raven intact. Guess the game plan is to get the rest of the pieces then to try to defeating the raven without destroying his heart. I gotta say, that whole thing where Bottom was like: "I can see people's love because I stand behind them" thing was pretty corny. |

| It's weird how Duck's friends go from trying to hook her up with Mytho, to trying to hook her up with Fakir. Just a nice touch... Yo! A reference to Shakespeare! A Midsummer Night's Dream with the donkey head and the girl being named Hermia! And it's another fantasy flip since in the play, Hermia was rather short. Yet in Princess Tutu, she's the tallest girl in class. |
