| OH WOW I WAS NOT ANTICIPATING BOTH THE FEELS AND THE RAGE THIS CHAPTER ILLICITED FROM WITHIN ME! I think that WHM-tappir simp getting beaten the crap out of has been one of the most satisfying moments in the manga thus far. I honestly wonder what will happen to the village, if/when they get their sadness back. I doubt they'd go apeshit like the Tapir wants, but I can't imagine it being all sunshine and roses either initially. AND THAT LAST SPREAD OF ICHI ENTERING WAS KINO |

| Gokuraku's backstory was deep and sad. This man has some determination going at this for 10 years in his own. The rest of the chapter was just alright, he shouldn't be able to force the Majik to choose him. He's waited 10 years fate should be in his side or the others should use their majik to help ensure that Gokuraku is the one chosen. Overall this was a good chapter but fell just short of being great imo. |

| bro somebody just do the challenge 😭 Ichi the Witch kinda feels like it’s developing a formula: you introduce a new magik that’s evil due to their nature, give the audience a reason to fear or hate them, then proceed to humiliate the magik by finding loopholes in their games or just beating them up. I’m not mad at this and it hasn’t grown stale even with this being the fourth major magik we’re facing. There’s something about the unpredictability in dealing with this formula that always makes for an interesting read. |
