I actually thought the same thing at the first time,
But after reading it again I think that Ness will play solo and wants to be the number one so he will shot but it will be blocked and it will land perfekt for isagis weapon the Volley.
So just like the last goal of the U20 match

| @a0i-kun With that I think he's going to pass the ball to a target he wouldn't pass to usually, which would be Isagi. The next is called Hero which could have to do something with Kunigami and since Ness is probably gonna have a reawakening with a magician or necromancer aura with summoning a hero. |

| @JuuginJefe Honestly, that's all i've been waiting for. How is Kunigami not being used in a match against someone who almost made him go home from Blue Lock? If Ness doesn't score, this will be the only acceptable outcome in my opinion. Unless they want to pull Yukimiya out of nowhere and score again like in the game we've had before. |

| @JoriKun I think Kaneshiro should've let Kunigami score the first goal instead of just defending because it is too late in this game for him to score now. After all, there's only Kaiser or Isagi to score in the last few chapters. Sucks all that wildcard stuff didn't amount to much in the NEL at all, I think. |

| @JuuginJefe As much as I hate how Kaneshiro's writing has been getting worse and worse as time has passed (imo), I still think he can sometimes be very good to subvert expectations. I remember back when we were still on Manshine vs. Bastard I was one of the few who weren't surprised with the outcome of Yukimiya scoring, as, to me, it felt like the only logical conclusion to the chapter, even though the chapter was all about Isagi vs. Kaiser. One of the problems I have with Blue Lock is how drama/conflict quickly shows up and gets solved. I feel like the conflict of Isagi vs. Kaiser only exists as a way to form tension bc in reality it has already been solved by them having insane chemistry and thoughts basically synchronized, in which even though the rivalry exists, it's already been solved not as a "one beat the other", but as both created something bigger, which is probably what Ego and Noa wanted as a bigger end goal. Instead, the final conflict we have now, is not who'll score between Isagi and Kaiser, in my understanding, but rather if Kaneshiro will finally make his writing worth it and bring Kunigami to the spotlight with an unexpected Ness pass, as not someone who'll enable Kaiser, but someone who'll enable the whole team, just like our ultra sadist, and Kunigami, the hero, finally beating the villain that once defeated him and making his team rise to the top as a character who was developed to basically become on the same level as Noel Noa. A tl;dr would simply be that I am having high expectations of Kaneshiro (which I shouldn't considering I've not been liking his writing ever since the start of this saga) and I believe that if he truly knows what he has written all this time, the only logical outcomes are Ness's independence and a new fire to become a striker, or Ness's independence as an assistant (like he has always been) and pass to the hero that has been in the shadows all this time. Blue Lock to me is about the team, the premise of strikers is just that they should master scoring, but ever since the first chapters we've seen all of them play as a team and the element of trusting your teammates. Expecting just a goal of Isagi or Kaiser is the type of slop that I've disliked for so long in this manga, which is why I want it to be cool and bring logical, yet unexpected outcomes just like how Yukimiya's goal was to everyone. |
