It says on my profile:
> Exceptional episodes and chapters listed in series comments
ie: if a series has "5, 6, 10" written on it, that means that episodes 5, 6, and 10 were my favorites or were otherwise especially notable; sometimes I'll also have a note written after the number about why the episode was great
I don't have this written down anywhere but a ⭐ means that there was one scene in the episode that was especially exceptional, and ❗❗ means that the episode as a whole was one of the best things I've seen
It is a method I use to draw the difference between my Critical and Subjective ratings.
Monster has impressed me personally to the point that I would say it is, with FMAB, one of the best anime I have ever seen. It is flawless entertainment to me personally.
But looking at the series itself, often the tension was attacked by over-dramatization, pacing was often slow, and some of the characters' reactions were unrealistic in the long run as it was repetitive. Due to an increase in such issues which harm the overall quality of the Show, I couldn't give the series a 10/10, despite the pain.
A good and better example is "Demon Slayer".
The show is no matter how you look at it a below average shounen with no real strengths (except for the animation/music and pacing, but this is only due to the studio). Otherwise, Demon Slayer is weak. Still, this series has thrilled me personally and I've loved every single episode. Therefore, the actual score is 5/10 and my personal between 8-9/10.
I hope you understand what I'm getting at. Often you just see a series as bad even though you thought it was very good by yourself or the other way around. And that's where I want to draw the difference.
Heyo!
The stats are pictures I made myself in Photoshop, then put them into my classic style profile using bbcode.
Hopefully that answered your question. Let me know if you want to know more!
