Wieze is crazy this season lol

Personally, Wieze's personality borderlines on childish and psychotic. That aside, we got a lot of story lore this episode. It's also scary to see what certain weapons can do like that Vajgir blade or whatever it's called. What a cliffhanger. Their world really feels unpredictable at any moment.

Great episode, was even better than I expected, all scenes were adapted really well. The fight was amazing and just how I wanted it. I also liked the carriage scene, gray-haired child is really small compared to Toroa in the carriage who was enormous, really liked how they showed the contrast in the anime.

Some notes:
1)Toroa learned about Alus affiliated with Auretia through the bandit that he had killed in the last episode
2)Gray-haired child offered him: information on the location of the enchanted swords and a way to hide him from the eyes of others. I don't know if it's the subs problem or the anime changed into "Information and free housing" which makes no sense. Why would Toroa need free housing????
3)And Toroa refused him because he didn't want to be used by anyone and gray-haired child was suspicious
4)The soldier wasn't letting Toroa in just because he had no letter of recomendation, but because he was suspicious af, if he let him in, who knows what he'd inside (and he was right)
5)Toroa also came for the enchanted sword that belonged to Gilnes the Ruined Castle, one of the generals from Old Kingdom Loyalists. Kiyazuna and Mestelexil stole it off screen.
6)Might have been confusing, but the reason why Auretia knows about the movement of Particle Storm is because Gray-haired child told them about it. It was confusing to them, since he is helping both sides.
7)General Mizial mentioned about how it's gonna go through Sine Riverstead, that's Mele's village.

I'm so hyped by this episode, it's crazy, it's intense, it's unpredictable. Yes, we're still in the "character introduction" phase but who say we can't get a good fight scene at the same time! I think it's something I'll gladly be compromised for. In term of action alone, I think this anime could be the best of this season.

Fire episode as per. Nice mix of set up, character development and action.

I wonder who the grey haired dude that stuck up for Toroa is. No way he’s helping him for free, some ulterior motive like everyone in this series.. but what. Probably playing both sides.

Petition to slap Kuuro for being rude and nasty to cuneigh? She’s so nice and constantly encouraging him and he’s just an edgelord lol.

Speaking of edgelords, seeing Toroa who’s edgy as shit take on someone as naive and childish as Mestelexil was such a tonal whiplash. I like both of them so I’m glad they didn’t fight to the death and the particle storm showed up which they’ll likely team up against. I kept wondering with the way everyone talks about the storm whether it was sentient like the reapers from mass effect as it seems to take out societies/countries that get too advanced. Looks like I was right since it talks and is a little cocky bastard too.

Next ep should be dope.

I liked the first season, but was not a big fun of the battles. This season they are making up for it!
As I said last week, Mestelexil is(/are) my favorite character(s) and now they are fighting my second favorite character, Toroa, while Kūro is watching them with his Clairvoyance, AND they get interrupted by The Great Particle Storm themselves(/itself)?!
I already liked the start of the fight, now I'm even more hyped! Let's g- that was a cliffhanger...

I like how the main character of this season (Kuro) is opposite of the main character of the first season (Soujiro).

Kuro tries to avoid fight while Soujiro tries to fight strong opponents. Kuro's skill is falling while Soujiro's skill is rising.

Very cool start to this Particle Storm arc, and I’m glad it’s featuring both of the strong boys we met in the previous episode, both were very sick and I felt we didn’t get enough of Toroa in particular, so getting more of him is nice, his interaction with the touch of gray fella was a very interesting one, it really showed what both of them are about, of course the the Gray Haired Child still has a lot of mystery surrounding him tho. Also it’s kinda funny hearing a normal voice come from the absolute monster design that is Toroa lol, his design makes me think he’d talk very little or none at all, and at least have a heavier voice, but nah it’s Steve from accounting and his many logic defying swords lol, his voice does fit tho.

And later when it came to the Particle Storm itself, we got a cool throwdown between Toroa and Mestelexil since Kiyazuna stole one of the swords that Toroa is after, and man what a cool fight it was, CGI use looked great and there were some wild twists and turns, I thought it was especially cool that Mestelexil pulled out a Stinger rocket launcher and Toroa managed to find out that he can divert the rocket’s path with heat, it was a lucky guess but still lol. And Kiyazuna even whipped out a Tommy Gun, I guess they do have machine guns in this world after all, or maybe just Kiyazuna does, but the Particle Storm finally showed up and ended the brawl early, and I was surprised to see that it can talk and there is a body within it, pretty cool reveal, now Kiyazuna has something to talk shit to since the storm destroyed her country she once had, that’s some generational beef if I’ve ever seen it, now I’m really hoping she can get her revenge alongside Mestelexil.

Damn, was a little sad that the fight between Toroa and Mestelexil got cut short. Also was not expecting the particle storm to have a voice but I guess the name gave it away that it would be part of the cast

@traed Hilensingen the sword that Alus took is one of the most powerful enchanted swords where it can easily cut through dragon scales, besides it the sword doesn't take up much luggage

@traed It should be noted that Alus is renowned as the Champion of Legend Slayers, and has defeated many dangerous monsters and labyrinths, Toroa is only a small part of his conquests.

It talks… the freaking storm talks.

Good episode, to be honest I hope mestelexil is one of the unfortunate that doesn’t make to the tournament. I don’t like him very much.

since when was Alus ever portrayed as anything other than selfish? He literally nearly burned all of Lithia just because they had an item he wanted. Alus is badass, but let's not forget he's dome a lot of messed up shit. There's a reason Ishura fans nickname him "Alus the War Criminal."

Ok the Calamity is here. The Particle storm so it levels any countries whenever they get too powerful? And it CAN FUCKING TALK! So no this isn't some natural disaster it's a creature something that has the power of one.
